J2: The Deception

Jade was fairly relieved to discover Drake aka Drago didn't come to Section 13 for 'work'. She hoped he'd never come back and was beginning to believe he wouldn't when he didn't show up for a whole week. There was no activity from him doing anything evil on the streets either. It was a good thing since she was having trouble with an elusive corporation that she knew was really an illegal drugs and weapons smuggling company of dangerous gangsters.

They called themselves the STN Export Corp. Jade knew what 'STN' stood for, 'South To North'. Section 13 had an inside job wiring them information every so often on the gang's new move. They were at war with anyone who tried to stop them, especially law enforcement. They had already gunned down countless victims and even did home invasions to anyone they felt like. They pillaged, raped, killed, and destroyed everything they took over. They were almost as evil as real demons! Jade was determined to put an end to their madness. Jim was back from his vacation and was showing some confidence in himself. She was surprised in the change in him. He acted almost...tough and masculine! Quite a change alright.

Jade had no time to admire Jim's new admiring traits, she had ordered some stealthy spying to be done on the gang by her own specially-trained agents. She made Jim stay behind and monitor everything carefully. She needed all the evidence she could get on these sickos to put them away for life. Captain Black would surely reward her with a big fat bonus, she could feel it. Positioning herself on a rooftop near the STN Export building, she looked through her binoculars to the window where the big cheese, Mike Marlone, sat in his office.

She saw him talking on the phone and wondered if her agents were taping it for her yet. She was about to contact them through her headset to find out when she was hit behind the head and knocked out. A pair of eyes not far away watched as she was kidnapped...

When Jade came to, she figured out what happened fairly quick. She was handcuffed to the wall somewhere with two goon guards watching her. Actually, they were playing cards and ignoring her. Carefully and quietly, she worked the cuffs, trying to squeeze her slim hands out. She nearly had one hand halfway out when she heard a loud thud followed by more loud bangs. It sounded like guns were being fired over and over. Jade assumed her agents were coming to save her. But then she heard that familiar overzealous demonic roaring and was dismayed. Not him!

The goon guards knew something was up by all the loud noises downstairs and got prepared. They got a frantic call to move the prisoner to an even higher level. They would deal with her now. Then the caller screamed like he was being disemboweled. The guards were on edge. "Get that whore to level 83! Now!!" One went to the door, weapon ready to transport her. Whatever was out there, he would be ready. The other did as he was told and got Jade. "The boss doesn't want anything happening to ya. Some big score involved with this. As much as I'd like to see what'll happen to ya if we left ya to whatever's down there, I ain't gonna risk my paycheck. Let's go!"

The two guards rushed Jade out and they made her run up several flights of stairs before they got to level 83. They took her to a fancy office that would make Valmont (back when he was rich) gasp in awe. Mike Marlone sat in a leather chair behind a huge marble desk. "Ah, Jade Chan! It's about time we had a talk about how your so-called secret organization keeps on invading my company's privacy." he said, pulling out a long hunter's knife from a desk drawer.

The goon's forced her forward as Mike walked around his desk, knife in hand. "Ch, company my foot! We all know you're running a big time smuggling ring here! I'm gonna bring you down too, Marlone... I swear it! You're not going to get away with hurting and killing innocent people any more!" Jade growled, out of breath from running. Mike was not at all frightened by her words and he did not take them lightly. "Well, let's see how well you can stop me when you're dead!" He stabbed downwards to her chest, but she dodged swiftly. With a lightning-quick reflex, she kicked his legs out from under him and Mike fell hard. Jade began to run towards the door. "Shoot her, you idiots!" Mike yelled, angrily.

Before anyone had a chance to do anything, the door burst into flames. Jade was thrown back by the force. The goons grabbed her since she was close enough to them. Drago leapt in, irate as ever. "You jerks have lousy manners on welcoming visitors!" he complained.

"Stay away, you freak! O-or else!" stuttered the first goon. Jade noticed that Mike also looked very frightened that she got an idea. "Or else, what?" Drago growled, flames growing from his claws. Jade turned to Mike. "Yo, Marlone. This guy's my pet demon. Mess with me, you mess with him." she said confidently, but quietly.

Mike was shocked. "You have control over that-that thing over there!?" he squeaked, obviously stunned. "Sure! Duh! What'd you think? I can tell him to beat your brains out if you don't let me go right now." she whispered, not wanting Drago to hear. She doubt he would go along with this. Afterall, she was implying that he was her slave.

The second goon did not believe Jade. "Bull! Let's see how well you can control it with your new mouth!" he said, aiming his gun to her throat. Drago saw this and hurled powerful fireballs at them, igniting the plush carpet below. Mike was convinced Jade had the lizard-beast trained.

"Stop it, you idiot! Let her go! Let her go!" Mike screamed, pushing Jade out of the goons' hold. She stumbled close to the fire demon. She glared at Mike, which worried him. "Call off your fire monster, Chan!" he begged, shaking like a leaf. "I give up, really! Just call him off!"

Drago snarled viciously. "Call me off? No one tells me what to do! This place is going up in flames with ALL you humans in it!" he hissed and took a deep breath to expel a lot of fire at once. Jade never seen him do that before to breathe fire. That was not good. He might really be trying to blow up the place with a bunch of mega flames. She couldn't let him do it. She'd be fried as well!

As hard as she could throw herself, she tackled the unsuspecting teenager off his feet. He coughed and choked on half burnt smoke as flames discharged painfully from his nose and mouth. Mike and his goons had already left right after Drago threatened them all. The room was catching on fire quickly and smoke was filling the room.

Drago threw Jade off him and promptly vomited black tar-looking stuff. He coughed some more flash flames, trying to correct his fire direction. He recovered a few moments later, about as furious as he was when she first knocked him underwater. He let out a ear-shattering demon roar, a sound that had a chorus of other roars mixed into one. "IDIOT!!! Do you know how painful that was!? You backed up my fire!!" he screamed, slamming his tail down onto the fire soaked carpet.

    "Oh, shut up!"

Drago nearly lost it. "WHAT!?!" She finally freed her hands from the cuffs at last. The bruises and cuts were bad, but they were nothing compared to the wounds she survived through beforehand. She ran to the door. "We have to get out of here!" she yelled back at him. After she took a few running steps in the hallway, a huge thick stream of fire followed her. She fell from the powerful burning force and looked back. Drago walked through the wall of flames. His mouth was blistering with fire, ready for another attack.

"I came here to save you, you ungrateful stupid worthless human trash!" he hissed and breathed fire at her. She dodged in time and felt slight deja vu. It was almost like how they first met. "Save me!? Yeah right! What you're doing right now sure looks like you're trying to save me! For sure! Jerk!" she yelled, getting to her feet. She would kick his butt here, but the place seemed to be very flammable and it was getting too hot to stick around. Not to mention the smoke was making it hard to breathe and see.

Jade turned and ran as fast as she could downstairs. She heard his vicious roaring and hissing behind her as he chased after her. She felt that same weird happy feeling wash over her again. It was just like when he first chased her to the docking bay. She actually liked having a hot-headed violent demon chasing her. She found it fun somehow.

Sliding down the stairway railings, she made good time going down fast. Of course, she had to duck and dodge pieces of the railing and fire being thrown at her by Drago. When she got to the ground floor, Mike's goons grabbed her and one of his generals ordered the goons to shoot her. She karate-kicked them off her, but unfortunately, the general shot her himself in the leg. She screamed and fell hard in mid-kick. The general guy went up to her and aimed the gun at her head. He was pulling on the trigger when Drago was suddenly next to him, swiping a thick layer of flesh off. He had no chance to scream.

The general fell to his side as Drago continued his attack. The goons nearby began to shoot the demon mercilessly then. Jade squeezed her eyes shut as she struggled with her bullet wound. She listened to the anguish cries and howls of people being killed mixed with Drago's screams of pain and anger. The sound of blood being sprayed was everywhere. Some even was splattered on her, which was extra aggravating. Several moments later, the last surviving goons retreated.

Jade peeked an eye open and saw carnage. Blood painted the walls, the floor, and the ceiling. But that wasn't disturbing. What was disturbing was seeing Drago eating the contents within a goon's ribcage! The demon teen was covered in blood and it seemed to calm his rage some. He ate like a savage barbarian, tearing the lungs to shreds and gnawing the rib bones wildly. The slurping and crunching of a human body being devoured freaked her out. She had her first case of the willies ever.

Jade tried to quietly escape, but her leg hurt madly. It caused her to cry out, bringing most unwanted attention to her. Drago turned his head towards her direction, the goon's heart in his mouth. He chewed it like gum while blood spewed out of it weakly. The heart fell out in small pieces between his teeth and dropped to the bloody floor. Growling in a deep constant purr, he walked over to her.

Jade suddenly knew what a hamburger felt like then. But there was no way for her to escape. "No..." she said to herself and pinched her eyes shut, waiting for the new pain. But none came. She felt herself being lifted and carried away. Her eyes flew open and looked up at him. "Huh? What?" she squeaked, utterly surprised. She was sure she was demon chow back there.

Drago's blood-stained grin bothered her. "I told you I came to save you." he said, almost kindly. Jade shook her head. "Uh, thanks... I think... But you shouldn't have killed all those people back there! And you ate that guy! That's so gross!" she complained. Drago had a good fill of human meat that he was well satisfied for the night. Jade was off the menu at this point. He knew he didn't want to kill her just yet, but she made him so ballistic back there that he nearly did kill her.

"I'll kill whoever and however many I like, Jade. Just be glad you weren't on the death list tonight. Now, hold still." He set her down after they were some distance away from Marlone's place. He bent over her with his claws over her leg. He started to heal her gunshot wound, when her secret agents attacked him. It happened so fast, Jade could only watch in surprise.

They used a new weapon that was never tested before. It was made specifically for Drago, but it was never finished until a few days ago. It electrocuted him while it also sprayed ice cold water on him. As Kepler's students expected, it worked well on poor Drago. He yelled and screamed until he collapsed, unconscious.

"Are you alright, Boss?" a random agent asked her. They helped her to her feet and called for helicopter medical support. Jim was there as well. He fussed over her wounds and expressed much hatred towards Drago. "He did this to you! I saw him with his claws over your leg. He'll pay dearly for hurting you again, Jade!"

"Whoa, Jimbo! It was Marlone's general who shot me. Drago tried to help, but-" Jade tried to say, but Jim got the wrong idea. "So! That demon was helping Marlone! I knew it! Men! Take that beast back to Section 13! We'll deal with him properly there..."

"Wait! Jim! What are you-" Jade couldn't finish since she was injected with something. It seemed to be some sort of pain killer that made her sleepy. "Don't worry, Jade. I'll take care of everything." Jim said, going back to ordering the agents around. Confused, Jade felt herself slipping away and then all she saw was darkness as her eyes closed.

When Jade woke up in Section 13's infirmary, she leapt out of bed. A shooting sharp pain stopped her and she fell to the floor. The nurse on duty hurried to get her back into bed. "You mustn't leave your bed, Miss Chan." a nurse named Melissa. "Jim has ordered that you stay here until your wounds have healed."

Jade refused her help. "What? Jimbo? But he's not my second-in-command, Missy. Why is he taking charge of everything?" she asked confused. "Since Drake is still ill from the food poisoning, Jim has taken his place. He said you authorized it." Melissa said. Jade felt strange. "But I didn't authorize that. I didn't authorize anything like that! What's he doing? Errrgh! I'll have to have a talk with him!" She stopped and remembered Drago.

"Drago! What happened to Drago? Where is he?" she asked, irritated. No one was allowed to kill him, but her. She was the boss here, no one else! The nurse explained that he was being held prisoner in the jail cells down in the basement and he was going to be executed anytime now.

"He's been put into the solitary cells in Sector 4. I heard that he'll be destroyed sometime tonight." she said.

"Give me crutches! Now! This is a direct order!" she ordered. Melissa was shocked by Jade's fierceness. "Yes madam!" she cried and fetched them.

Jade hobbled down to the prison cells as fast as she could. She ignored anyone who questioned her along the way. She burst into the basement and went to Sector 4. Eventually, she found him, laying on the floor with his back to her. He looked like he was still unconscious.

"...Drago?" Jade limped closer to the cel. "Did they already kill you?" She would so pick a bone with Jim if he did Drago in.

"You'd like that, wouldn't you, Jade?"

Jade gasped and felt relieved. Why did she feel this way? Was she relieved because her chance to kill him wasn't gone or that she...cared about him? He was Drake afterall and Jade really liked him. Nearly loved him through and through.

"Drago! I'm so glad you're alright!" she cried, shifting her weight. He stood up proudly and turned to look at her, but his mighty stance was brought down by sharp pain. "Erughhh..!" he groaned, holding his sides. "Drago!" Jade took a few crippled steps closer. He gave her a disgusted glare. "Leave me alone!" he growled. "It's because of you humans that I'm in here and suffering!"

Jade wanted to get him medical help. It wouldn't be any fun to have him die on his own. She had to be the one who was responsible for his death. Also, deep down inside, she had feelings for him and she still cared for Drake, even though he was really Drago. He did save and protect her against Marlone and his goons. Her love for him was the real reason why she wanted to get him medical attention.

"I'm going to get you some medical help, don't worry. I'll get the key and let you out." she said, making him scoff. "I don't need your help! I don't need any stinking key either..." he growled. He took a deep breath and blew fire at the metal bar door. The door no longer existed after that. Drago walked out of his cel haughtily.

"I can leave AND come here anytime I want, especially when I look like Drake." he said smugly. A wave of pain hit his gut again and he groaned while grabbing his middle. Jade went to him. "Are you alright?" she asked, worried. He gave her a strange disgusted look. He was no baby! He was just fine!

"He won't be after I'm done with him..." said a voice.

Jim came around from the corner he was standing at. He looked extremely angry and annoyed. Jade was surprised to see him there. "Jim! What are you doing?" she cried, totally flabbergasted.

"What am I doing? No, Jade. The real question here is what are you doing? Why are you showing feelings towards this monster?" he demanded. Jade had trouble answering. "I, uh, um..." she stammered. "Don't worry, Jade. You don't need to explain. I figured it all out. He is Drake, isn't he?"

Jade was in a difficult situation. Jim seemed to know everything and maybe that was why he was trying to take over. He probably thought she wasn't fit to be leader anymore since she had feelings for the enemy. How could she get him to understand? She didn't know how to redeem herself, since she couldn't understand the whole thing herself. She longed for a perfect male companion. It started with Hsi Wu, but ended in Drake, who was really Drago. An evil blood-thirsty beast that feasted upon the innocent. She still cared about him despite her knowing what he was. There was no way she could get Jim to understand that. Especially not accept it. What a mess!

Drago growled threateningly at Jim. "Yeah, so what's it to you, human?" he said with great animosity. "Shut up, monster! I'm talking to Jade here!" Of course, the fire demon didn't take those words lightly and tried to attack. Jim whipped out the same weapon that shot out water and electricity in a special high tech laser beam.

Drago screamed in pain and was brought to his knees. "Errrugh!!!" Jim smiled. "Stay down you animal. I have more words to exchange with my dear sweet Jade." he said, then looked to her. She was shocked to hear him say, 'My dear sweet Jade'. She knew he liked her, but that was a real bold statement. Well, coming from Jim it was.

"Jade! How could you let him out?! Are you under some kind of spell?" he cried, trying to understand it all. But he couldn't and he didn't want to. "Yeah... That must be it...! You're under a spell..." he muttered under his breath. He turned his gaze to the now recovered teen. "Well, I have spells of my own, beast!" Jim held out his hands and bright green energy balls and streams flew at Drago.

The teenaged dragon easily jumped out of range and charged at Jim, who was summoning a powerful transportation spell. "Drago! No!" Jade yelled, running towards them. She leapt and kicked Drago's right side in mid-air, trying to stop his assault on Jim. But her human friend let loose his special spell, which was only intended for the demon. The spell hit both Jade and Drago and they disappeared. Jim gawked for a few seconds and then yelled in frustration. "NOOOO!!!! JAAADE!!!"

He did not know where he sent them, but it was not anywhere pleasant. Tears burned in his eyes. "Jade...! Nooo, what have I done? Jade.... Jaaaaaaade!!!" he screamed and then collapsed, sobbing. How could he save her? He just had to find her!

Jade knew something really weird and super bad just happened when Jim's spell hit her. She screamed and screamed as she felt herself being transported somewhere and it didn't feel great. She felt like her insides were turning inside out. She was sure she was going to die when the pain suddenly stopped and she fell onto her back on a hard metal floor.

"Oof!" she cried out and tried to clear her head. She quickly realized she wasn't alone when she heard Drago groaning near her. She looked to him and could see he fell on his chest and chin. He got into a sitting position, rubbing his head. "Grrrugh! What the h-ll happened?" he growled, thoroughly annoyed.

"I dunno." she answered, wishing she knew what happened. Drago jumped in surprise. "Augh!" he cried, his red eyes wide. "What?" She gave him a perplexed look. He shook his head, equally confused. "I thought I was alone. Hmph, some friend you had there. He sent you away too. I didn't think that loser could do such powerful magic..." he hissed, slowly getting to his feet.

"Well, neither did I! Anyho, where are we?" she asked, on her feet too. She walked next to him and stood beside him. They were in a small dead-end hallway that lead out into some weird room that had computers in the walls. It reminded Jade of how a space station might look like.

"How should I know? I just got dumped here!" Drago snapped, lashing his scaly tail back and forth. Jade made a face at him. "Jerk..." she muttered. He growled at her, irritated. He hated being as clueless as a human. He may be half what Jade was, but he was doing everything he could to disqualify that weak side of his bloodline. Peeved, he inspected the room, sniffing everything. Jade inspected with him and he did not object. He rather have her stay close. This place could be dangerous and he wanted to be the only one to have the privilege to end her life. There was a huge box-like obstruction in the middle of the room and one wall was knocked out.

They both looked inside at the same time. Jade gasped. There was a bloody mess of what appeared to be a man, but Jade wasn't sure. Drago made a strange sound that sounded like a mix of a snarl and a grunt. "This is just great! I know where we are! This is a fine mess your human-trash buddy got us into!" he yelled, his expression twisted in great hatred.

"Huh? Where? Where are we?" She looked around, unable to ring any bells. She was never here before, but Drago was. Hmm... He viciously punched the nearest wall, smashing out the electrical equipment. "We're on Phobos... or Deimos... Dad took me here when I was a kid. Taught me how to be a demon in this place..." he said, looking at his surroundings with a different attitude. He liked those memories with his father. It was like father and son time, plus he learned how to be a real demon. It was like how young human boys would call becoming a man.

"Whoa, whoa! Hold up! Are you saying we're on one of Mars' moons!? That's crazy!" she cried, waving her arms at him. "Stop being stupid! I told you where we are! So deal with it!" he yelled, putting his claws up. Jade scowled, putting up a brave front to mask her terrified feelings inside. She believed him about where they were, but she wished it wasn't so. Mars' moons? That meant no air! If she wanted to leave this place, she might have to leave the buildings, which did have air. Where would she find a space suit in a place like this?? Well, she just had to that's all. It was an important step she had to accomplish  in order to escape this place.

"Listen. This place used to be a special government space station made by you humans in order to make new living habitats. Problem is, there's a lot of portals and gateways to Hell on both of these moons. Dad taught me how to kill here and to deliver pain. Dad said I did real good evil, so did the rest of the family. There IS a way to get back to Earth from here, but it's not easy. Dad left me here on my own and told me where the portal to Earth is. I fought and murdered my way through these low-level zombies, demons, and whatever the h-ll else. I got back home in about a week's time. Ahh, that was pretty fun. All alone, butchering through a trillion of bums with NO help. And I can do it again!" he said confidently and walked over to a large door to the left.

He felt like showing off to Jade. He would show her how strong and powerful he was. She wouldn't dare oppose him once she saw his full blown-out demonic fury. Plus, he was a guy, she was a girl, and Drago loved to show off to females. It was a guy thing he got pretty much from his human side and being a teenager; that guy thing was in full bloom for him. He had to make sure NONE of those loser low-level a-holes out there mentioned anything about his breed. It would be easy for them to tell by his scent, both his body and blood gave off the truth about him. Real demons could always tell when a human was near; the smell of human was both the smell of sweet candy and rotten eggs to them.

He would be utterly embarrassed if Jade knew he was not a full-blooded demon, but only half of one. He deemed his human blood a curse that made him weak. He hated that so much; he hated anything that made him appear weak, especially if it did make him weak. When he was little, the demons here teased him mercilessly while he maimed his way to the portal. His aunts and uncles also ridiculed him as well, even though they had said he was like them. He was devastated and ashamed by his human blood and vowed to become something just like a real demon, even though he could never really be one. He had to be very careful this time. Jade was with him. His human slave, his pet...his girlfriend...

"Come on, we have to get back to Earth before something stupid here kills you." he said rather calmly. Jade went to him, still freaked out by her situation, but she put on a mask of courage. She had to make sure it stayed on tight. "Sounds good to me! So, are there any weapons on this rock? Like some kind of guns?" she asked, hoping so. He opened the door and it made tons of noise, scaring Jade. He didn't notice her fright since he was thinking hard as they went through the door into a long hallway that only went one way.

"I guess, maybe." he said, shrugging. "I went through these moons so fast that I didn't have time to look around." He tapped a claw to his teeth. "Wait, I think I remember seeing weapons here. There were some humans around too back then. The f-ing bastards shot at me, but I was too quick. They liked to shoot at anything that wasn't human."

"Well, no duh! If you jerks are trying to kill us, what do you expect us to do? Not defend ourselves?" she asked, irritated. He was slightly torn since he was both demon and human. As much as he hated to admit it, she was right about that. Demons had too much hate and pride to back down to humans. There was no way there could be friendship between them. But what about Jade and him? He had yet to decide completely. He 'liked' her mostly how a demon would, but his human blood was not without an opinion of her. He was fairly fond of her at this point. She was fun to chase, lust over, and fight with. She was feisty and strong, never backing down. Qualities high-level demons had and those qualities had attracted him to her. Of course, her body also played a big role in seducing him as well.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. If neither side backs down, then blood will spill. I like it better that way. Now, we'll have to search about to find you some fighting moon gear." he said, sliding against the wall down the long hallway. He listening hard and smelled the air constantly for the musk of demons.

Jade went into stealth mode as well. She stayed close to him. He was her ticket out of this place. How lucky for her that he had the hots for her. The feeling was mutual to her and caused much confused shame.

"And a space suit. I need a space suit. There's no air on moons, last time I checked." she said, quietly. Drago halted her suddenly then. They were at the end of the hallway that opened up into a mega huge room filled with storage wooden crates. And demons...

"Don't make a sound..." he whispered in her. "They might have already smelled you." Jade was disturbed. She had no protective gear or weapons! "H-how many are there?" she whispered back. "None when I'm done. Stay low and watch."

Just then a fire ball hit the corner of the hallway, exploding in a shower of heat. Jade gasped in fright and cringed. Drago clamped his claw over her mouth. "Shut up! They probably heard you!" he hissed. "Just stay here, they'll all be dead soon." He let her go and with lightning dragon speed, he leapt out to the highest stack of crates.

Instantly she heard warfare. She couldn't even look around the corner to see the action. She heard screaming from unknown beings, vicious hissing and roaring from Drago, and fire balls being thrown everywhere. The crates got hit many times and when the sounds of war moved away from where she was, she peeked around the corner.

To her relief, the damaged broken crates contained weapons. It was a start. She grabbed something that looked like a bazooka and frantically searched for its ammo. She had to dodge some poorly aimed fire balls from the other demons, which she knew weren't Drago's fire. These fire balls fizzled out weakly when Drago's always burned on and on with a vengeance. She eventually found the ammo for the bazooka and loaded it.

She was testing the balance of the weapon as she heaved it onto her shoulder. All of a sudden, a hideous spiky naked brown beast shrieked at her from a short distance away. It hurled a fire ball at her and she moved out of the way in time. Without thinking, she pulled the trigger of the mega gun and it nearly knocked her onto her butt.

The brown spiky demon was hit in about a second and it exploded into millions of bloody meaty pieces. Jade found that satisfying somehow. It was just like her DooM game she played back home when she was younger. It had an eerie resemblance to this place. Maybe they modeled the game after the real thing! That had to be it!

Shaking from the bazooka's kickback and adrenaline pumping through her veins, she kept the gun ready for anything else that came her way. Soon, Drago came back to her. He noticed the blown up demon remains not far away. "Found a way to defend yourself huh?" he said, slightly winded. His claws were dripping with blood and his dark clothes stained darker.

"Yeah, this big jerk thought he could kill me, well I sure showed him!" she said triumphantly. Drago's smile was a mile wide. "That's the spirit! Get that lust to kill, it'll help you survive here. Now let's go. With all that noise, the others will be here any moment to rip us some new breathing holes." He rushed off, but Jade had a hard time keeping up since the bazooka was pretty heavy. In disgust, he came back and made her leave it.

"That thing will slow us down. My claws and dragon breath is all the fire power you need. Here, just take this." he said, seeing a machine gun. Ammo clips were strewn about it. He tossed it and the clips to her. The gun was not exactly light, but it wasn't super heavy like the bazooka. He watched her load it with more disgust. "Geez, you're taking forever! Give it here!" He yanked it from her and set it down.

Drago grabbed her then and tucked her under his sleeveless coat, onto his back. "Prop the gun on my shoulder and if anything gets too close, then kill. It's a good idea to get out of this place asap." he said and tied his sash belt around her and gave her the machine gun. "Hang on tight, I run really fast." She wrapped her legs around him and held the gun on his shoulder with her right arm over his throat so she could reach the trigger from his left shoulder. She was ready. He got down on all fours and took off.

Jade knew he wasn't kidding when he said he could run fast. Room after room passed her vision, it was really action-packed, since practically every room was filled with zombies and demons.

Several got a little too close for Jade, so she put the machine gun to good use. There were more spiky brown ones, tons of zombies, and several bulky horned pinkie pig/bull-like monsters with glowing yellow eyes. She remembered back when she was a kid in school bragging to Drew and the others about her adventures. They would never ever believe this even if they saw it! They were like a living sprinting shooting gun; it was so cool! What a thrill! Jade lived for action like this.

When a twelve foot minotaur wouldn't let them run past, Drago stood up and jumped onto the beast's face. Jade's ears were blasted and rattled with horrific LOUD demonic screams and hisses as the fire demon fought the cow demon. Drago quickly dodged the minotaur's claws as he instantly flew to the back of the monster's neck and shoved his claws down deep into the flesh. The bleeding thick hide came up to his forearms and once he grabbed the spine; he kicked off backwards, tearing the whole thing right out. The cow demon screamed and crumbled to the floor. Blood sprayed everywhere.

Jade, fairly disturbed and scared, tried to hide in Drago's coat to avoid the crazy blood bath. She kept her eyes tightly shut as she clutched the machine gun. Moments later, she thought she heard a door open and close. Drago smashed the opening mechanism on door. "Now those bastards can't get in here..." He stopped running and panted hard as he sat down against a wall in a relatively small room.

"Can I get off this killer ride now?" she asked, half teasing and wiggling about. He closed his eyes and growled. "Shut up! I'm tired! Just wait!" he barked, and went back to catching his breath. Jade scowled. "Jerk..." she muttered and dropped the blood splattered gun away to their side. Her limbs ached from holding onto Drago and that stupid machine gun. After a good while, Drago untied Jade from his back. "Great, now I stink like a human." he said disgustedly. He was forming a plan. If any of the morons here let on that he was half human, he could get Jade to believe it was not true if he brainwashed her into thinking her scent was rubbed off onto him. She did cling to him just now and her scent was strengthening his own faint human stench.

The only thing that worried him was what if she didn't believe him anyway. That was why he was trying to zip past all the rooms as fast as he could. It would take about two or three days to get to the first gateway to the other moon. He knew they were on Phobos. If only there were on Deimos! That moon was closer to the portals of Hell and Earth. The whole thing was so whacked that it utterly annoyed him.

Jade began to laugh off her hidden fright. She had to look tough, that's how she was. "Haha! We sure showed those bastards out there huh?" She poked him with her elbow. He faked a smile. "Yeah. Har har."

"Man! That was all majorly crazy! That was pretty cool the way you yanked out that minotaur's spine. Reminds me of a game I play back home. Actually several games." she said, sitting next to him and leaning her head on his shoulder. She was pretty tired herself. Her nerves were close to shot. After a dose of mini Hell, she was more than ready to wake up from this nightmare.

"I would have ripped out a lot more than that, but it was enough to get the job done." he said, still worrying over if Jade would learn of his secret.

"Ch, gotta rest. This place is wearing me out. Big time." she mumbled, closing her eyes. Her mind was in overdrive, so it was hard to get some sleep. Drago made a face as he looked at her leaning on him. She wasn't fearing him anymore! That wasn't good; all demons were to be feared and respected by humans. Oh well, he didn't feel like caring about that now. Jade had the right idea. Resting was a good thing to do now. He, too, closed his eyes and went to sleep. He needed to be very alert when they got to the GateKeeper. There were always tons of zombies, demons, and whatnot waiting there. He knew since he was there before. He just hoped that none of them would speak a word of his shame. Being half of what you hated was a real pain in the butt.
