J2: The Deception

As Shendu and Meechi passed through the portal he made, the dark figure following them instantly hid behind the tall machinery all around them. Shendu lifted his head and sniffed the dead fetid air. He promptly hissed meanly, scaring Meechi and making her hair stand up. "The humanssss returned here... I can sssmell their dissgussting ssstench all around usss..."

Meechi glared up at him. "You freaked me out with all your ridiculous hissing, Shendu! Don't you think we should be a bit more inconspicuous? I bet whoever is here heard you right away." she scolded, irritating her husband. "Shut up wench! I'm glad I can at least scare you even while you hold that accursed sword! What a wicked deceitful wife you are... For shame! Harming your master when you should be appreciating him!" Shendu paused and licked his long scaly jaws lewdly. "...And pleasuring him..."

Meechi held the sword up defensively. "Get back!! I'll be sure to shame you before you do anymore harm to me and I still welcome death! I don't fear you as much as I used to!" She was sure she saw Shendu smirk and it irritated her. Suddenly behind Meechi was a loud bang, like something huge and heavy like a refrigerator falling ten feet to the floor. Instinctively, she turned her head to look and Shendu grabbed her while she was distracted. He tried to rip the sword from her fingers, but the good magic burned him the moment he grazed his scales upon it. So, he improvised his situation to his favor by bear-hugging his wife, keeping her arms pinned down.

"LET ME GO!" she screamed, knowing she didn't have enough time to make Shendu explosively angry at her yet. If he expelled out some of his hate for her in a form of a beating or rapes, she'd be stuck with him longer until she could make him angry enough to blow up and kill her. She couldn't wield her sword now since the Fire demon had her arms squashed down at her sides. He increased his crushing hold on her, trying to make her drop the sword. But she held on and hoped she didn't die just now. She had to save Drago first, she just had to! She had suffered worse than this anyway, she was sure she could take it. No! She did NOT deserve this abuse! She had to fight back somehow!

"To feel your worthless yet desirable body against mine like this is sweet, sweet revenge..." Shendu growled to her, emphasizing his words cruelly with each crushing squeeze. Meechi knew she could just drop the sword and it would fall on Shendu's foot (and maybe stab it), that is if he didn't move. But he did move about as if he knew about that possible drawback. Plus, she did not want to lose her only defense against him, even if it was currently useless to her now. He would have to eventually let her go, otherwise she would die. If she was going to die, she was going to die the way she preferred, not the way he wanted.

Meechi screamed angrily and kicked her legs frantically. If only she had shards of that sword in the heels of her shoes! All this torment was only a few moments before several disfigured five-legged monsters with glowing yellow eyes appeared around them. Meechi just KNEW all that noise was going to attract demons and whatnot.

There was a considerably large mob of these maggot creatures collecting about them. Their long thick tongues whipped out of their mouths like how a snake's would. The sucking hissing noise they all created was extremely inhuman. They spoke, but Meechi couldn't tell if one was talking or they all were. She did not understand much of what they were saying, except one barely distinguishable string of words.

    "Give usssssss the human!"

Meechi was sure Shendu would not give her away to be killed, since she was such an ideal mating slave. Her tormentor was now her protector as much as she hated to think it.

Shendu scoffed at them. "Insolent lower class! You know who I am and you all STILL DARE to ask for MY human? A demon sorcerer NEVER gives away anything! Degradation is your punishment! Insignificant fools!" While still holding onto Meechi tightly, Shendu opened his jaws wide and aimed down at the mob as a thick stream of raging inferno exploded from his throat. The maggot mob desperately tried to escape, but the Fire demon got most of them easily.

Laughing, Shendu watched them flee and scramble into the crevices in the metal walls from which they came. Proud and showing off his higher class and rank, he slammed his huge clawed feet on the injured ones, reducing their physical bodies into nothing. Meechi's ears were ringing from all the terrible demonic screams and roaring. Her right hand felt numb and her arm begged her to let go of that heavy sword, but she stubbornly held onto it.

The five-legged monsters were long gone at last and Shendu walked down a long dark hallway to somewhere she did not know, of course. It was pitch black and she feared that her wicked husband would never release her from his painful hold. While he walked, well stomped onwards, she could feel herself sinking into his flesh. Like he was trying to absorb her! She had seen him do it with the Talismen and the ring she gave him, but did he absorb living things into himself too? She didn't want to find out. If she was inside him, he would have completely control over her again. But it would be on a new higher level of evil.

"Stop! Shendu! What are you doing?" she cried out in alarm and the best she could in her suffocating state. Shendu pressed her face against his chest forcefully. "You should be one with me, dear Meechi. Afterall, husband and wench, I mean, wife are supposed to be one being... Hahahaa!!!" he chuckled sexily. Meechi felt her face being shoved upon soft liquid scales and tried to push away, screaming with effort. "NOOO!!! I don't want to become one with you, demon!!!" she shrieked, resisting.

Her mouth and nose were briefly under his flesh for a few seconds before she was able to free them, but then she was under the scales again, breathing in his horrible dark evil. It was corroding away her soul and it was the worse feeling of torture she had ever experienced by his claws. Hate, extreme madness, and a unspeakable sense of lost hope and loneliness flooded her, weakening her.

Somehow, a hard sliver of scales came up from Shendu's biceps and created a bracelet around Meechi's right wrist, forcing her hand with the sword up and away from his body. She fought with all her might to angle the sword so it would touch him. Then maybe she could get free and be more in control.

Shendu pulled his clawed hand away and Meechi could finally face away, gasping for death-filled air. Even though this air had the smell of death, it was more alive and favorable than the great evil within Shendu. He laughed at her wickedly, making her feel helpless and lost as she did before when she was living with him. "I told you I would punish you severely for leaving me, Meechi..." he said, his words cold, but his tone sweet and loving. Meechi couldn't stand it. But she had to, for Drago's sake. He was her only son and even though he might not care for her, she still loved him.

Shendu adjusted her against himself and tucked her under his loincloth halfway as if she was a wooden doll. The same sliver of hard scales around her wrist remained and new ones wrapped around her body like rope, holding her securely to him. At least she wasn't sinking into him anymore. "I'm keeping you safe with me, my dear. I will not have any lower class scum touch you as you are mine and mine alone." he told her, like he was doing her a huge favor. Meechi said nothing and fought to keep her tears from blinding her.

At the end of the hallway, there was some dim light and Meechi could kinda make out their surroundings. She saw some sort of a room with a domed roof nearby. As Shendu got closer to it, two huge monstrous beasts appeared from around each corner outside of the room. Even though they were only half Shendu's size, they showed no fear and blocked the Fire demon's way. Blue-white energies glowed from their raised threatening claws.

"Out of my way!" Shendu demanded and shoved the one on the left to get by. Immediately, the HellKnight attacked, throwing the blue-white energy from its right claw with a hard slamming motion. The explosion of the energy hitting the ground was unbelievably loud. Meechi was completely freaked out as she had to endure that loud noise.

Immediately, Shendu took great offense to this attack. "You DARE attack me? Do you even know who I am?" he roared, punching one and kicking the other. Both fell to the metal floor, their heavy weight working against them. It took them a while to get back on their hideous feet. One answered, "We know who you are and we are to keep you away from the portal. The Master does not want any interference from anyone! We are taking over the Earth. Master wants the others to be released soon. You will get in his way!"

Shendu snarled viciously, making Meechi wished she was somewhere else right now. Somewhere safer! The Fire demon slammed his claw foot angrily to the ground. "I have no desire to go back to Hell, idiot! I didn't want to come here! My stupid slave wants to rescue our foolish brat. She should go in alone, but I can't trust that the others won't kill her, so she stays with me and I'm forced to go with her! I mean no interference, whatsoever! Let me pass so I can get this over with!" he shouted, growling.

The Master was releasing the others from Hell? This was BAD! His siblings would definitely come after him for not freeing them like he had promised. He'll be beaten up for sure and have no fun tormenting the humans when he got back on Earth. Finally free from his prison of stone flesh, he was eager to get back to that small watery yet earthy planet to do some serious killing of humans and all things innocent. But now with this new news that his brothers and sisters will get some of the 'pie', he was anxious to figure out a scheme to escape eternal beatings from his siblings.

"Your spawn and slave are no concern of ours or the Master's. Leave now or be destroyed!" the first HellKnight grumbled and attacked again, not giving Shendu a chance to do anything. The HellKnight grabbed the dragon's throat and began crushing it. The second HellKnight grabbed for Meechi and tore her away from Shendu. He was about to devour her alive when Shendu's tail whipped the second HellKnight hard enough for him to lose his grip on her.

Meechi was surprised that she was still alive after falling that many feet and that she still was holding onto the sword. She stabbed deep into the second HellKnight's foot and the monster screamed in pain. Meechi withdrew the sword and took off like a rabbit into the domed building. She could see a glowing flowing circle of light in there and she had a feeling deep within her that was the way to her son. She could hear Shendu's straining raspy protests behind her.

Looking back only once, she could see that the HellKnights were preoccupied with beating the fire out of Shendu. Why they weren't going after her, she didn't know. Suddenly then she thought maybe because they believed she wouldn't make it out of Hell alive. She would do all she could to save her son, even go into the most evil forsaken place.

As she went through the portal, she heard horrible screams and gnashing of teeth, so many terrible sounds of pain and sorrow. Even though her eyes were tightly shut, she saw blood flowing over what looked like moving, living raw meat in her mind. It was so disgusting that she nearly vomited. When she couldn't stand much more, she was thrown onto rocky rough ground and a hideous horrid smell entered her nose. She coughed and choked like crazy. She chanted a spell of protection and was able to breathe moderately.

Meechi looked about the dark evil place and felt that same lonely helpless feeling she experienced when she was nearly eaten by Shendu's liquid scales. How horrible this place was! There was no hope here, but Meechi knew she had to make some otherwise she would succumb to the evil here. She searched hard with her feelings for her son. To her amazement and joy, she could sense that he was still alive and even nearby somewhere. If only she could find him and get out of this terrible place.

She noticed a very tall statue a few yards away and felt worried. That was just a statue, right? She took a few steps forward and gasped when she saw that statue moved, no, floated closer to her. Then the 'statue' spoke. "You have the stench of Shendu all around you. Humans and my brother are not welcomed here." said a calm, yet cold voice of high authority and intelligence. Meechi tried her best to see in the darkness. This being was no statue, but another demon.

She held up her sword defensively, surprised that it made the trip with her. "Stay back, demon! I'm looking for my son and I'll be gone when I find him. Don't mess with me!" she shouted, shaking with doubt and fright. She had to really work up her nerve to not be so afraid of Shendu, but other demons, she did not know their personalities as well, nor how to read them like she did her husband. She had nothing to fight with against this one, she did not know him.

Tso Lan, the Moon demon, floated even closer to her. His towering height made Meechi feel like an insignificant ant. She was shocked to see that he had four arms with four clawed hands. His face was long and monstrous, inhuman. His long tongue danced about in front of his curved hooked pincers at the edges of his mouth. Glowing red eyes showed nothing, but icy cold hatred for her. He eyed her carefully, 'hmm'-ing the entire time.

His long black hair seemed to be alive and tilted her chin up so he could look at her better. He scoffed finally. "So, you're my nephew's mother! You're Meechi, this I know. Tell me, my dear, how did you escape my foolish brother's grasp?" He paused and stared her down. "...And get here?"

Meechi felt strange. This demon, in a weird twisted way, was her brother-in-law! Ugh! There was no way she could ever consider him 'family'. "I sensed that my son, Drago, was in danger. I went to Shendu for help and I freed him from his stone-flesh prison." She too paused and said softly to herself, "It was such a big mistake..."

Tso Lan raised an eye ridge and murmured. "Hmm... So, Shendu was trapped in stone for many years, eh? What a fool he is." the Moon demon commented.

"He told me where to find our son and he brought me here. He was supposed to go in with me, saying he didn't want me to get killed since I'm his 'perfect' slave. I don't plan being killed until I help my son out of here and then I want everything to be over. I don't want to live being cursed by Shendu..." Meechi finished and began to wonder how she would get by this demon. What was his name? She couldn't remember even though her husband had bitterly told her all his siblings' names before.

"Um, what's your name? Shendu told me about you and the others, but I have forgotten all those names." she asked, questioning herself to why should she care. It's not like she was going to ever ask him over for dinner.

"My name is none of your concern." Tso Lan answered coldly. He raised his higher set of arms up in a threatening manner. "Afterall, you won't be breathing much longer..." Meechi instinctively held up her sword defensively as Tso Lan came closer. "That sword is a symbol of defeat of my foolish brother. It can not harm me, child." he said, swiping at her suddenly.

Meechi darted away, losing some of her hair in the process. Why did all the demons' have to have razor sharp claws? Getting spooked, she gripped the sword tightly still. She had to attack, even if it did no good. Besides, this demon could be lying about the sword not being able to harm him. She had to try something or be killed! And she didn't want to die just yet. Drago was still in danger, she could feel it deep in her bones.

Again, Tso Lan tried to grab her, his claws stabbing through the foul air of Hell and slamming into the ground as he missed. He grumbled in frustration as he glared at her meanly from his bent-down position. "No human has ever escaped me this long. You dare such mockery against me?" he said dangerously. Meechi was surprised to this demon not snarling, drooling, foaming-at-the-mouth, shrieking, growling, and pawing the ground like a rabid beast, much like how Shendu always did when he was upset.

This one was cold and more silent, even civilized. Meechi thought demons were all like how Shendu was, but now she quickly realized that they all had different personalities, different ways of behaving. She swallowed hard, knowing this floating demon expected an answer.

But she didn't have a chance to talk, when Tso Lan attacked once more, finally catching her in his four claws. She knew what it was like to be a worm on a hook then as the demon's claws pierced into her flesh. Immediately, she was thrown into a nearby rock and staggered to get up. What happened? The demon did not throw her.

Then she saw him. Shendu stood angrily, his claw out and stretched. He had hit Tso Lan so hard that he lost his hold on Meechi. The Fire demon was badly injured. Many heavy serious wounds were scattered all over him. Meechi wondered how he got away from those other monsters outside the portal. She knew he did not come to save her because he loved her. He only came to protect his 'property'. That was all she was to him and it was a hard fact she had come to terms with for years.

Tso Lan got off the dirty ground and patted his robes to clean them. "I will punish you later for that, Shendu." Tso Lan simply said, his tone calm, but his eyes full of rage. The Fire demon snarled at him. "NEVER, ever touch MY slave! She's MINE! No one is to touch her, BUT me!"

Tso Lan sighed irritably. "What am I supposed to do? Check over every human to see if your name is on them? Ridiculous. I kill any human I wish."

Shendu hissed, hatefully lashing his swollen bloody tail. "Not MY slaves, they're MINE to do with what I please! Besides, you KNOW that THIS slave is one of my special ones!" he spat back. Tso Lan sighed again in annoyance and looked him over for a moment.

"What happened to you anyway? Did Tchang Zu exact his revenge already? Or did Dai Gui?"

"No, it was those stupid gate keepers out front! Bastards, I will have them destroyed for this outrage!"

Tso Lan tried not to chuckle. Shendu severely trounced by mere guards? That was to LAUGH! And laugh and laugh and laugh... The Moon demon smiled more then. Shendu grew even more hateful. "What are YOU smiling about?" he demanded. Tso Lan pointed in the direction to where Meechi fled. "You're such a fool. Your precious slave has run off and will most likely be killed in a minute without your worthless 'protection'. How very careless, brother."

Shendu roared out a shriek of fury. "SHUT UP! I'll get her back, I'll prove it!" He started to stomp away when Tso Lan said, "When we are all released, don't think we forgot about how you left us to rot here. Your punishment will be eternal." Shendu growled viciously, hisses mixed in his reply. "I'll make it up to you all, I promise! Now, leave me be!"

Tso Lan watched his brother rant and rave away, screaming for his slave to return. "How futile..." he said quietly. He continued to wait patiently for the Master to let him and the others out soon.

Drago instantly knew when his father entered into Hell and that put him on edge. Why would his dad come here? He hated this place and would never ever willingly come here on his own. There was something wrong. Plus, wasn't his dad a stone statue back home? Who freed him and who would want to? Drago had plans on freeing his father, but only so he could use him to eat certain people that Drago didn't care to stomach. Like Jade's uncles...

He could also sense someone else, but he wasn't sure who. And his uncle Tso Lan was close by too and it was not a good sign. What or who were they after? Jade and Sid?

Sid could tell something was up by looking at Drago's angry twisted features. "What's wrong? Is something here?" he asked, cocking his gun and searched around them cautiously. Drago wondered if he should let Sid in on what he sensed, but he figured he might as well.

"I sensed more demons, that's all. My dad and my other uncle. They probably want to kill Jade. I won't let that happen!" Drago growled, narrowing his spiked eye ridges. Sid shook his head. "How many uncles do you have? We have enough trouble with just that flying one. Now what's wrong?" Sid asked quickly when Drago tensed up suddenly.

Drago flung his arm out to knock Sid down right before a fiery beam of energy flew right where Sid was standing. Sid recovered quickly, first angry for Drago hitting him, then grateful that he did knock him over. Drago already was attacking the rogue demonic beast. By the time Sid got back to his feet, the teenager already had destroyed the other lower-class demon.

Sid hated to say it, but he had to thank him. "Thanks for the save there." he said, saying as if he had just tasted cough medicine. Drago scowled. Having a 'Happy Hour' buddy-buddy thing going on with Sid was not his cup of chi. He just wanted to find Jade and to escape back to Earth. Doing that without getting killed was the problem...

Jade thought her lungs would burst from all the hellish fumes of death as she kept a constant pace to distant herself from Hsi Wu. She was desperately trying to find a way out of this mess, but she was not sure how to and she didn't remember being in this part of Hell before. She was lost all over again just like the first time. Every rock and cave looked the same as the last ones she passed. There seemed to be nowhere to hide either.

Something Jade had thought she was immune to was closing in on her. Fear. She was so scared out her wits that Hsi Wu would find her and make her his slave and/or dinner. How could she prevent that from happening? How? Her confidence was being quickly sucked out of her every passing second. She just didn't know how to improve her life-threatening situation and it was wearing her out and destroying her. Her confidence and knowing what to do next were her tools of survival, but now she lost them both.

She felt as if she was going to lose her sanity as she frantically raced around a rocky corner around a huge volcanic mountain. She crashed into something and a female voice cried out as Jade did.

Stunned, Jade saw a beautiful black-haired Chinese woman in front of her. She had gotten to her feet already and drew her sword in defense. "Who are you?" Jade cried, hurrying to her feet as well. The woman stared at her, unable to believe she was seeing another living human in Hell.

"Are you human?" the woman asked cautiously. Jade shook her head and held out her hands. She could tell this woman was human by her chi aura. "Of course I am! You are too, I can sense your chi. It's good like mine." Jade said, relieved to see her. Having someone of your own kind to rely on really helps in a horrible situation such as this one.

"I'm Jade Chan, the boss of a private crime-busting organization." Jade said, eyeing the large sword the woman held tightly.

"I am Meechi Sung. I'm looking for my son. His name is Drago." Meechi said, blowing Jade away. This gorgeous young woman was Drago's mom? Jade was really surprised. This Sung lady didn't look old at all, at least mom old. Jade shook off her surprise and nodded.

"Well, he's here alright. We got sent here by magic accidentally. We were trying to get back to Earth when we met a man named Sid. He wanted us to help him free human slaves the demons held captive. But we pretty much failed." Jade said sadly, hating to admit a defeat.

Meechi's eyes grew wide. "And my son willingly went along to help...humans? Why would he? But he hates-..." she stopped and closed her eyes, feeling hopeful. 'Maybe he has turned away from his father's ways?' she thought.

Jade looked at Meechi again and noticed her wounds. "Whoa, who did all this to you?" Jade asked, pointing to the bruises and cuts. Meechi furrowed her brow, appearing upset.

"Shendu." she answered, feeling very tired suddenly just thinking about her hateful abusive demon husband. "I asked him to help me find our son. He brought me close to here, but he didn't want to come in here. You know, Hell. He came in anyway since I escaped and he probably fears his kin will mark me in some way or another. I'm only property to him, but he won't let me go. I want to die and escape him forever, but he won't let me die. I can never age and never become wise like how my people expect. It's a great honor to be an elder, but I'll never get to that point. I'm not allowed to do anything I want, thanks to Shendu."

Meechi let the tip of her sword drop into the crusty bloody ground. Jade could tell it was very heavy and Meechi was exhausted from carrying it. She felt extremely sorry for Drago's mom then. The poor woman, she already knew how Shendu was. But to be married to him and have a child with him! Jade didn't even want to think about such horrid things.

"I completely know what you mean about Shendu... His brother Hsi Wu tricked me the same way, but um I didn't have any kids with him... But yeah, I know about how Shendu is. He's been giving trouble to my Uncle Jackie for years. My other uncle, Uncle too. And me, but mostly through his son...-er, I mean I can handle them. It's not your fault entirely for bringing Drago into being. Um, how'd it happen really? I mean, Shendu's not exactly nice..." Jade waited to hear her reply.

Meechi shook her head. "I was young and naive. I believed every sweet lie he told me. I was praying to my ancestors to have them send blessings to help my sick dying father when I realized I had prayed at the wrong temple. It was not for my ancestors, but for Shendu. He hunted me done and was angry that I had 'defiled' his temple by not praying to him. He was going to eat me alive right there and I begged for my life. He changed his mind and let me live...only if I spawned a child for him. And I did. I should have just let him eat me, it would have been better than this forever lasting nightmare of a life!"

Jade understood and wanted to offer her support. "Don't worry. I totally understand. I probably would have done the same thing. We should keep moving. I think I feel evil chi approaching. Let me help you carry that sword." She reached for it, but Meechi refused.

"No, it's alright. I have to carry this. It's my only protection from Shendu and the other demons. This blade is enchanted and it'll keep us both safe. I'll help you leave this place. But please help me find Drago. I love him as he's my only son..." Meechi said, pushing away from the stone wall she was leaning against.

The two ladies hurried along a stretch of rocky walls with the light of the lava to guide them safely on the narrow path. They both heard the low growl of something extremely evil when Jade heard and vaguely saw Meechi get grabbed and held against her will.

"Pathetic. Shendu still hasn't found you? Too bad for him...and too bad for you." Tso Lan said, squeezing Meechi in a deadly bear hug with his four arms. Jade raced to help her when she was subdued by the Moon demon's long black living locks. The hair began to crush her too.

Meechi felt her grasp on the sword slipping. She struggled to hold on to it, but she couldn't stand the bone-smashing pain her brother-in-law was inflicting on her. Jade's screams made Meechi feel terrible. She didn't deserve this. Tso Lan was mad at her more. Jade shouldn't be caught up in her family affairs. Meechi almost laughed. Some family!

"That's right. Keep screaming. You worthless humans deserve such pain. Especially you, my dear." Tso Lan said calmly, while his actions were brutal and extreme. His claw clutched her throat and he dug each razor-shape digit into her flesh. Jade winced hearing Meechi's bloody gurgling cries. It brought tears to her eyes and she couldn't even help her! Tso Lan's whip-like hair kept wrapping itself tighter around Jade's own throat, choking the life out of her. Were they going to die like this?

Suddenly, Tso Lan roared out in agony. Jade had to put a lot of effort to turn her head to see what happened. What she saw made her feel worse, even though Tso Lan's hair dropped her to the ground. Hsi Wu was biting his brother's neck viciously, forcing him to let go of Meechi and Jade. The Moon demon hissed hatefully and began to fight with the Sky demon.

Meechi was also dropped to the dirty ground, bloody and broken.

Jade was afraid to look at Meechi, forgetting that she couldn't die thanks to Shendu's curse. She took that moment of distraction to go to Meechi. She was relieved to see that she was alright, but mentally, Meechi was not too good. She could hardly stand the torment she endured all her life, she was close to the breaking point. Meechi knew that if she snapped, then Shendu would win and she had to fight to calm down. Somehow. Jade helped her create some distance away from the brawling demons.

"I don't know how much more of this living Hell I can take, Jade." Meechi cried, sobbing blood and tears. Jade tried to hug her and gave her some healing elixir. It healed her neck wounds, but not her mind. Jade pulled her along, further away from the demons. "We got to find Drago. He knows how to get out of here. And Sid. We can't leave him here either." Jade said, then stopped. "You know, it's weird how no other demons are after us. Just Shendu's family. I don't get it."

Meechi fought to gain her composure. "I feel another force protecting us. But it is evil, there's no good chi. Whoever it is has great black chi. I can't understand why a human could have such a dark heart." she said, confusing Jade.

"Huh? What do you mean? You mean Sid's bad? I didn't know he knew magic, he sure didn't use any of it. He-" Jade stopped when Meechi shook her head hard.

"No, no... It is not that one. I can feel other chi's here..." Meechi closed her eyes and searched. "There is the chi of my son far away, it is very faint and there's another with him. His chi is not magical at all. There...is another here. He is close by, but he is hiding from us. I don't know why this evil is helping us, keeping the other demons away. He probably wants to keep us for himself. I will be no slave to any man- human or demon!"

"Yeah, same here for me too, Meechi. But why can't this guy keep Shendu and his family away?" Jade wondered. Meechi looked at her seriously. "I believe it is, because his chi isn't strong enough against Shendu and his family's power. They are elite demons afterall." she said, stopping to sit suddenly.

Jade felt so tried too. All this running around scared, almost getting squeezed to death, and running more for her life was taking a toll on her mind and body. But what could they do? They couldn't stay there and rest. In no time, Hsi Wu would find them and do unspeakable things to them.

As soon as she had thought that, Hsi Wu was suddenly there, rasping and giggling. Jade's weariness made her weak and afraid, otherwise she would have tried something- like fight or run away. Instead she stiffened up like a frightened rabbit. She noticed Meechi reaching for her sword she had put down for a moment when she first sat.

"I've found you, Jade. Now, be a good girl and come to me if you value your worthless life..." Hsi Wu said in a funny sing-song voice. Jade could tell he was really angry though by the way he was tightly gritting sharp teeth.

Meechi laughed strangely then, making both Jade and Hsi Wu look at her. "Stealing my son's slave away isn't a big deal, Brother Wu!" she cried out, struggling to stand up. Jade noted how she hid her sword behind her carefully.

Hsi Wu let out a shriek of contempt. "Silence, Meechi! No human is my kin, so don't ever call me your 'brother', human garbage! You're nothing, but a spawn factory for my brother."

Jade did not know what Meechi was trying to do, but she hoped it would save them somehow. She trusted her. Meechi quickly snuck the sword to Jade, fueling Jade's trust in her more so. Meechi walked up to Hsi Wu and acted flirtatious towards him. This caught the Sky demon off guard, pleasing and disgusting him at the same time.

"I could be all yours. Shendu doesn't want me to die for a reason. In fact, he won't let me die. I'm so very valuable. If you stole me from him, that'd really lower his rank and raise yours. Not to mention how angry you'd make him. You could foreverly taunt him how you easily stole a perfect breeding slave from him and never let him forget how careless he was with his property. Isn't belittling him to these extremes worth it? Why not mark me in front of Shendu? It's not like he can do anything to stop you. You can fly and he can't. He's not at all as agile as you."

Meechi pressed herself against the nine foot tall monster seductively and grabbed him in all the right places. Hsi Wu considered what she said and grinned ear to ear. "That is a worthwhile idea, Meechi. Alright, I will mark you in front of Shendu. I'd love to see the look on his face when he sees how willing you are to go with me. I will then reclaim you Jade in front of Drago. Sky will reign over Fire! Come!"

Hsi Wu fanned out his enormous wings and took Meechi into his left arm. She had to fake her pleasure as she wrapped her arms around his skinny rotting grey neck. Jade reluctantly went to the Sky demon and allowed him to secure her to him with his right arm. He noticed the sword Jade carried.

"You plan to hurt Shendu with that toothpick, eh? Clever Jade. As long as it's not a flute, I don't care if you want to harm my brother." Hsi Wu rasped, flying quickly through the dark cloudy skies of Hell. Meechi was so glad that Hsi Wu didn't sense that that sword could harm him too.

"Oh yeah. I really can't stand Shendu. He's such a pushy jerk." Jade pretended to be buddy-buddy with the demon to keep him calm. She didn't want him to drop either of them before they could get back on solid ground.

"That's something you, I, and the rest of my siblings can agree on, Jade." Hsi Wu said, nuzzling her. It was a kind action, but Jade knew it was a trick. She would never again fall for his pretend acts of kindness.

It seemed like almost an hour before Hsi Wu finally landed on solid ground, except it was a cliff. He secured Jade to the ground suddenly with dark magik. He flung Meechi a few feet away from Jade and much closer to the edge of the cliff. To Jade's great embarrassment (as well as Meechi's too), Hsi Wu disrobed Meechi enough to start his special marking and mating. Meechi could sense that Shendu was nearby. She actually needed him to get out of this one.

If she made enough sounds of pleasure, he definitely would come running. Before Hsi Wu got a chance to touch her, she moaned wildly and begged for him to feel her to no end. This alluring consensual behavior from a beautiful naked female pleased the Sky demon, but it made him suspicious. No human was this crazy...

With a flying leap, Shendu was over the edge of the cliff and next, he staring down at them. Jade wished she was NOT stuck to the ground right then as the Fire demon roared hatefully at what he was seeing. Hearing it was bad enough.

"YOU DARE STEAL MY SLAVE, BROTHER WU! I'LL DESTROY YOU FOR THIS!!!" Shendu shrieked, a thick stream of inferno exploded from his wide open jaws. Hsi Wu flew off quickly, realizing that Meechi had actually tricked him. There was no end of his hatred for her now...

"I didn't even touched her, you fool!" Hsi Wu screamed back, dodging Shendu's fiery assaults. "NOBODY sees, touches, steals, or does ANYTHING with my slaves! Especially THIS one!" the dragon roared, trying to knock his brother out of the skies with a fiery demise.

Meechi quickly pulled her dress back down and used her sword to free Jade off the ground. "Hurry! My son and your friend is nearby. Surely we will be found by them. I know Drago won't ignore his father yelling like this. He'll come to investigate. If we are to survive, we must flee!" she said, running towards to where she felt her son's chi. Jade didn't need any more encouragement as she ran after her. The long flight in Hsi Wu's arms actually gave Jade and Meechi time to rest and get some of their strength back.

Jade really couldn't wait to find Drago and felt funny about it. Almost excited. She would actually be safer with him and closer getting back home once she was back with him. She wondered how Meechi would take it knowing that she cared for her son. Jade was sure she would approve. The thing was there was no guarantee that they would get out of Hell alive. Jade knew she just had to escape this place. She just had to! And with Sid, Meechi, and Drago too!
