Author Note: This story's timeline will be based off the
episode J2 from season 4 of JCA and this is how Jade met Drago for the first time. (See

J2: The Deception
Jade wished she knew where she was being taken to while Ice and his pals drove her somewhere in their big loud stolen truck. Why did Drago hire these goons to kidnap her like this? What in the world was going on?!
Eventually the truck stopped and the teens hurried out, laughing and giggling. Jade didn't know where they were since she was blindfolded. Soon, she was being dragged out and pulled like a cow to the next destination.
She could tell she was in some wooded area from the sounds of fallen leaves being stepped on, some wild birds chirping, and the sweet fresh smell of the cedar trees.
"Here she is, chief! Just like you wanted." Ice said, proudly. He promptly threw her down before Drago and she fell, kneeling in a bunch of dirty leaves. "All wrapped up and ready to be delivered."
Then she finally heard him. Drago. Jade didn't know he was looking her over, noting the damage on her with displeasure. He gave the teens a disgusted look of disapproval.
"And you gagged her too? What's wrong with you idiots? I didn't say kidnap the sh-t out her! Look at her! I said NOT to hurt her!" Drago didn't sound happy at all.
"Well, she put up a fight, yo! What are we supposed to do?" Ice said, trying to justify the beating they gave Jade. Drago hissed at them and threw something heavy to him. Jade figured it was probably the 'serious coin' they were talking about back in the truck.
"You clowns are lucky to get paid at all. Now get out of here! I'll call you morons if I need you again." Drago said, wanting them to just get out of there. Ice waved a hand away from his forehead, saluting.
"Gotcha. Alone time with your woman of choice. Haste!" Ice and his buddies left with their truck roaring away moments later. Drago left out an exasperated sigh of disgust and removed the gag, blindfold, and ropes.
Jade glared at him angrily. "What happened to your house calls, Drago?" she asked in a stiff upset voice. Drago helped her to her feet and growled.
"I never told them to hurt you." he said, dusting her off. She winced from the pain in her elbows. He looked deeply into her eyes, making her feel strange. It was almost like a concerned look of caring...!
While it only lasted a few seconds, it was there. Jade knew what she had seen. But was it genuine?
He held both of her elbows in his clawed hands and healed them. Then he touched her face with both claws and healed her there. Her bruises disappeared fast.
Feeling better, but still annoyed and confused Jade continued to glare at him. "Why are you looking at me like that? I thought you would appreciate my healing." he said, getting offended quickly.
Jade shook her head. "Why am I looking you like this? Oh, I don't know. Maybe because you hired those stupid thugs to kidnap me, that's why! And I got some questions for you too, Drago. Where were you all this time? I got your message on the answering machine today. I'm not hiding from you!"
"Oh really? Then how come I can't find you no matter where I look, huh? I'll tell you. It's that stupid co-worker of yours, Jim. He placed a spell on you so I can't find you. But there's no spell to protect you from those clowns I hired, so that's why I asked them to find you for me. I f-ing couldn't find you due to that d-mn dark chi spell Jim put on you!"
Jade was shocked. Was Drago lying? Did Jim really put a dark chi spell on her to hide her from Drago? It was very possible and it made sense too.
She would have to make sure first before accusing Jim of using dark magic again when she told him to stop. If he really did use dark magic again, she would really have a big bone to pick with him.
"I'll have to find out for sure later." Jade said, unsure of Jim now. He was pretty demanding and controlling now, not wanting her to leave his side for anything. Maybe the spell only worked if she was with him. It made sense why he didn't want her going back to her house alone.
"Come on, Jade. Like he's going to admit he put a black magic spell on you. I can tell he did. The dark chi scent is as clear as your human stink. I would know. Don't you think I would have been at your house already like before? It's that dumb spell making it so I can't find you! DUH!" he yelled, trying to get her to understand the obvious truth.
"Ok, ok. I dunno. I guess you're right." she said, feeling really bad about Jim now. Had the dark chi already changed him for the worse? What if he just went ahead and told Jackie, Uncle, and Tohru about her being cursed and all? What could she do?
Drago sighed with disgust. "Don't tell me you actually like that moron still. I mean, he's got nothing over me. And I mean NOTHING!" He emphasized the last word with much force.
"I'm the one you want, so stop this stupid 'shopping' game and stay with me." he said, putting his strong arms around her.
He held her close and hugged her hard. It felt so good to have her delicious curvy body against him again. He missed her, even though it was only nine days. It felt like an eternity to him.
Jade welcomed his embrace and hugged him back, loving his powerful physique pressing against her. He felt so solid, so robust, so perfectly exciting...
She thought back to the hurtful words Jim had shouted at her in the parking lot and how desperately he was trying to control her. He took her objections really hard to the point where he tried controlling her more.
Threatening to take her position from Section 13 and that he would take things over again. And that he had every right to too...
Yes, it was true Drago had controlled Jade in some ways or another, but he wasn't really doing that anymore for some reason. Maybe he just came to terms knowing she pretty much couldn't be controlled. Jim was straight out trying to control Jade no matter what and not giving up on it.
She realized she liked Drago too much now and forgave him for the bad things he did before. They went through so much together both on Earth, Mars' moons, and in Hell of all places.
Jim...well she just didn't like him enough to forgive him for the bad things he had done. Jade realized that she still did love Drago even though he had tricked her before.
Things seemed different ever since they were sent to that space station on Mars' moons and they grew closer even more so after escaping Hell. She didn't love Jim... Not like how she loved Drago, that was for sure.
"I just might..." Jade whispered, her head nestled under Drago's horned chin. He clutched her even tighter then, her words filling him with a sense of victory. He was winning her back!
"Stay with me, Jade... I need you..." he whispered back, his tone amorous. Jade felt like her lips being attracted to his as if they had magnets in them. She missed kissing him, tasting him, feeling him.
She could easily tell he felt the same the way as he kissed and touched her. It was almost like how Drake touched and kissed her, she could never forget those loving caresses.
As much as she enjoyed her time with Jim, when he wasn't being a control freak, she enjoyed her time with Drago even more so. He was just too exciting to pass up. And she really liked his mom also. Jade hoped to change Drago to being more human and normal. She was sure she could do it! She just had to!
Amazingly of all things, Drago put a stop to their passionate kiss festival. "I want to take you some place special. Come on." he simply said and ran off, causing Jade to automatically follow him out of curiosity.
She chased him deeper into the woods which slowly thinned out to a beautiful beach area that Jade never knew about. How could there be an ocean here? There was a huge city behind these woods. This all was impossible!
But there it was, an ocean complete with crashing waves and a beach that stretched for miles both ways. There were rocky formations around the opening where Jade was standing, dotted with trees everywhere.
It looked like a magical place in Hong Kong or something. It was beyond beautiful, it was truly magical! Jade could smell the good chi flowing everywhere, especially in the air. She wondered how Drago could stand it. She knew bad chi couldn't stand good chi. Maybe this meant something good! Like that Drago was turning from his dark evil side? Maybe.
Jade firmly held onto that new happy hopeful belief and walked a few steps closer to the edge of the cliff in front of her. How would she get down?
"Down here!"
Jade looked to see Drago was climbing down this short cliff to the beach. It was easy to climb down too, there was walkway sort of. It was fairly narrow, but still it was easy enough to climb and walk along to get down. Jade quickly joined Drago at the bottom.
"This place... It's so beautiful... Wow!" Jade said, enjoying the view. Drago had his hands at his hips, nodding. "Yeah, I know. The sunset here is really something too." He paused, looking embarrassed. Why did he have to feel so geeky saying what he felt now? Was this real true love or what? Was he being a sissy for giving his human side a chance?
"I...I wanted to share it with you." he said, wishing he could go on, but he felt so weird saying nice things for real. He just wasn't used to being nice and kind without an evil reason or a sneaky plan behind it all.
He began to walk off, not able to handle this weird true love thing nagging away at him now. Was he really able to feel such a thing? For real?
"Drago?" Jade went up behind him, wondering what was up with him. Maybe the good chi in the air was changing him for the better. She really hoped so.
The words 'I love you' formed in his mind, but he just couldn't say those words to Jade. Not yet. Not now. It was too hard for him to say them since he would really mean it this time. He could tell this emotion wasn't lust. He and lust were old pals, he knew that feeling well.
This new feeling he felt was indescribable, but he had a pretty good idea what emotion it was. If and when he actually did say those special loving words, what would that mean for his demon side? He didn't want to think about it.
"I packed a dinner for us over there. See?" he said quickly in a carefree tone, pointing. Jade was fairly sure that wasn't what he wanted to say in the first place due to his serious behavior. Oh well, she was starving just the same.
"I bet you have all the food for me poisoned." she said sarcastically, watching his reaction to her comment. Drago laughed handsomely, finding her reply amusing.
"Always a good sense of humor. I like that. Let's go. I'm starved." he said, going over to the spot where he had a lot of food stashed away. Jade followed him and watched him open up a picnic blanket, laying it flat on the fresh green grass growing near the beach area.
Jade sat down, continuing to watch he pulled out different food packages, a few at a time. He seemed pleased with himself and sat close to her when he was finished setting out all the food.
"I brought all this stuff before I had those morons bring you to me. Isn't this great? Chinese food!" he said proudly. Jade made a face. She was never too crazy for her country's food. Especially not when she was in America.
"Er, can we get some Tex-Mex?" she asked, reluctantly picking up a noodle box. Drago stared at her like she was crazy.
"What?" he cried, not believing her. Both his parents are Chinese and so was he. Same for Jade. Why didn't she like it? Meechi always made Chinese food for him and Shendu and there were no problems.
"I mean, it's ok you got Chinese, but I always like triple black bean burritos. Yum, my fave!" she said, wishing she had some. Drago gave her another strange look. Jade gave him a weak smile.
"It's just whenever I eat this stuff, I always get hungry again in an hour." she said, breaking her wooden chopsticks in half. Drago was already eating his noodles, which were the spiciest hottest kind. The sweet and sour chicken was his next prey.
"Then you should eat more rice and tofu. You won't be hungry for at least five hours with tofu." he mumbled, eating the noodles instantly. He started on the chicken then.
"Ew, rice is so bland! There's no taste at all. Same with tofu too." she complained, finally slurping up her share of the noodles. Drago rolled his eyes at her.
"You and I are both Chinese and this food is Chinese, so what's the fricking problem?" he asked straight out. He stopped as if he figured out the answer.
"Oh, hahaha... I get it. You have a picky weak tongue."
Jade punched his shoulder. "I do not! Just because I'm Chinese doesn't mean I have to love Chinese food! Everyone has different tastes, duh! My tastebuds can take on anything!"
He held out a super spicy octopus tentacle with his chopsticks to her. "Well, let's see you eat this then." he challenged. Jade pushed his hand away.
"Ew, I wouldn't eat that even if it wasn't spicy!" she cried, trying the chicken then. Drago happily ate the tentacle loudly to tease her. "Ohh, this is sooo good! Too bad for you, Jade. You have a weak tongue, you couldn't handle this sucker! Ha!"
Jade ignored him and forced herself to eat some rice anyway. He watched her eat it playfully. She cringed at every boring tasteless bite, making sure she did not spit any out in disgust.
He took a large helping of rice for himself and ate it nosily, expressing his delight. Jade glared at him.
"Drago, knock it off." she growled. Since she was still hungry, she ate as much chicken as she could before Drago ate it all. She couldn't believe how much he did eat too. He must have eaten enough food for five grown men without any trouble.
"Ohhh yeahhh, am I stuffed!" he said loudly, being an annoying jerk as usual. Jade smirked at him.
"Sheesh! You eat like a horse! How do you manage to stay so slim and sexy?" she asked, playfully petting his stomach. He grinned a wide impish smile.
"That's right, just keep stroking on down a little lower. That'll make me really happy." he purred, using his tail to move Jade's hand down between his legs. She pulled away quickly, but not before she felt his stiff bulging protrusion pushing against his pants. Without really thinking or wanting to, she felt slight moisture form between her own legs.
'D'oh, man! Why does he have to be so darn sexy?' she thought, forcing that wild thrill inside her to calm down. She couldn't believe she was actually looking forward to making love with him. It usually was the other way around where he only (and always) wanted it.
"Come on, we didn't get to the fortune cookies yet. Just wait, you horny gecko." she said fondly, tapping his nose. He gave her a desperate annoyed look. "I've been waiting..." he growled in a low tone.
"Well, too bad! Cookies come first." She happily opened hers and pulled out the little paper inside. She couldn't believe what it said and growled herself.
"'Don't keep your lover waiting.' What kind of stupid fortune is that?" she said, irritably. Drago opened his and read it out loud.
"'You will get what you want soon.' Mm, I like that fortune. Ok, what I want now is sex and lots of it." he said friskily. He pushed at her legs. "Come on and open up. You heard the cookie. Let's get to it!"
Jade stood up and took off running onto the beach. "You have to catch me first!" she said, grinning. She loved playing hard to get, especially with him. Anything to make him chase her, it always thrilled her. Drago watched her go for a few moments before he grinned wickedly.
"Oh, I'll catch you alright. And I'll give you the best 'sex on the beach' you ever smelled!" he called after her. He ran after her as she hid behind some huge rocks that had fallen onto the beach and grassy area. She shrieked and squealed with joy as she dodged his grabs.
She put on a burst of speed back towards the spot where they had their picnic. She thought maybe she could reach the trees beyond the grass, but she stumbled on a seashell jutting out from the sand. Her slight delay gave Drago all the time he needed to tackle her down. Jade screamed out laughing at being caught at last. She really enjoyed the invigorating thrill of it all.
"NOW you're ALL mine!" he roared triumphantly. She readily accepted his kisses upon her lips and to her throat. He was about to shred the blouse right off her, but she luckily unbuttoned it in time. She unhooked her bra and pulled it off herself, tossing it aside. Drago already had pulled her jeans and panties down to her knees by then.
She reached down and inserted him into herself, surprising, yet pleasing him greatly. How wonderfully slick she was already, helping his thrusts to be flawlessly smooth and strong. They both felt overwhelming enjoyment almost instantly as their bodies shook with a powerful sexual rhythm.
Jade moaned passionately for him as he wildly beat his hips into her over and over. Slow and hard, then fast and hard. Jade loved it. He toyed with her breasts, sucking and licking those perky nipples seductively. She began to match his hips thrust for thrust. She wanted this too, so very much...
Suddenly, Jade threw her head back and arched her back hard as she experienced a vicious orgasm. Drago kept on bucking up to his climax, groaning his hot delight the entire time. Jade closed her eyes and let herself get lost in ecstasy as her lover pumped himself in deeper, his body unrelenting.
A ferocious roaring shriek of hot burning passion exploded from Drago's mighty throat as he finally erupted fully into her. Jade whimpered sexily, shivering with tense delight as she felt his semen spilling down in between her rear and onto the sand. He never released that heavily before, but she definitely enjoyed the thick juicy squishy feeling.

Even though the delay to this point was maddening, the aftermath was very sweet. So unbelievably sweet... He closed his eyes and let out a lecherous groan of utter gratification. For the first time in a long time, he finally felt satisfied.
Gradually, he withdrew himself carefully. He was so swollen that it was almost hard to remove himself from Jade. Her delicious wild squeal fueled his own lust to gear up for another love making session. Jade soon found herself happily trying out all kinds of positions to make love in. The other releases were fairly good, but none were as perfect as the very first one.
They both savored that incredible feeling, Jade tingled with excitement from it all. Hours went by as they made love continuously and soon the sun was setting then.
She happily let Drago suck her breasts as she stroked his back lovingly while he continued to make love to her. He pushed in and out of her slowly, enjoying every little bit of sex he could get. Once again, he released though not much came through. She noticed and rubbed the horns adorning his head.
"Running empty are we?" she teased, shifting her body contently. Drago sighed erotically before he kissed her passionately. His body was beginning to feel fatigued, but that sexual 'itch' he had for so long was finally gone. For now at least.
"You squeezed me dry, little missy. But I enjoyed every second of it... Every f-ing second..." he said, feeling very comfortable.
"So did I... This is the best 'sex on the beach' I ever got to breathe in... You beautiful horny gecko..." she purred, feeling very hot and sweaty. The crashing waves nearby interested her.
"Ok, get off me, Drago. I want to get washed off now. I'm so hot and sticky. Plus there's sand stuck up my butt. Ugh!" She walked into the waves, her eyes widening as she saw Drago joining her into the water.
"Want to skinny-dip with me, huh?" she teased, smiling. He grinned back, smacking a passing wave throwing water up at her. "Hey! Stop that! Jerk!" she cried, happily. She threw water back at him, so he slapped his tail into deeper water to soak her well. "Drago!"
His laughter made her want to laugh too. This was exactly what she wanted. Drago to be a normal person, to be more human. He was so exciting and wild, she knew the thrills would never end with him. He was the only one she ever made love with too and he had told her she was his first. Both were untouched at first, then touched only by each other. She felt that was a very special thing.
She knew she had better tell Jim that they could only be friends as she was picking Drago now. But she feared his reaction, especially now. He would take her position away from Section 13 undoubtedly and he would probably squeal to her uncles and Tohru that she was marked and cursed again. She really didn't want any of that.
So, she decided she would hold off telling Jim anything. She knew she couldn't bear his feedback on this matter, it would most likely be bitter and negative. She dreaded the time when she would have to tell him her decision. He was such a nice guy, but just a little too boring and soft-spoken for her tastes.
Being with Drago would always be fiery, wild, and action-packed adventures. She lived for thrillers and Drago was like that all the time without even trying. She adored the dangerous wild side of him, he was just so fun!
After cooling off in the Secret Sea, Jade went back to the shore to put her clothes on again. Drago followed her to do the same. He helped her dry off before putting her clothes on by regulating his fire and breathing warm soothing steam on her. She never knew he could do that amazing trick. She really liked it a lot, it saved her from walking around in damp clothes.
The cool night air made her shiver in her thin blouse. Drago put his trenchcoat on her, then wrapped his warm strong arms around her. Warm heat penetrated her all over, making her feel safe and protected.
"Thanks, Drago. I was beginning to feel pretty cold." she said gratefully, leaning against him. He got them into a sitting position so he could have her bottom half nestled in his lap.
"I'll always keep you warm, Jade. Mmm..." he purred, breathing in her scent then made a gagging noise. "Oh yuck, that water made you stink! What kind of cheap shampoo do you use?"
Jade narrowed her eyes, but snuggled against him amorously. "Just shut up." she said, closing her eyes feeling sleep trying to overtake her. He grunted, vexed a tad. He held her closer to himself and laid his cheek on top of her head. Finally she was all his again! And she wanted to be all his too, willingly! He was loving this victorious sensation tingling throughout his being. He had won at last!
Jade thought of a new mission she had to complete and having Drago with her meant she could easily take down the scum bags at the Slipper Sipper, a remote, yet very popular night club for dirty drug dealing criminals and crime lords. They were smuggling in anything expensive and illegal. From drugs to guns to underage prostitutes, there wasn't anything they wouldn't bring in and sell out.
"Drago?" she asked, trying to look up, but his leaning head was holding her down. "Drago?" she tried again. She felt him stir a bit.
"Hm..."
"Drago, wake up. I want to ask you something."
"Mmm, no Mom, I don't wanna go to school..." he mumbled, trying to sleep again anyway. Jade growled.
"Come on, wake up!" she elbowed him, causing him to do a cross between a grunt and a snarl.
"Hey! Can't you tell I'm trying to sleep? I'm f-ing tired after all that sex! So let me sleep!" he snapped, leaning over to the left side until he was laying down on the grass. Jade was taken down with him since he didn't let go of her.
Jade 'hmph'ed angrily. "Drago... I want to go home and sleep in my bed. I don't want to sleep here!" she complained. "Let go of me, you leech! Grrr!"
Drago growled and snarled at the same time as he got up abruptly. "Come on. There's a house not far from here." he said. The sooner they got to the house, the sooner he could get to sleep again.
Jade was full of questions as usual. "Huh? A house? Here?" Drago yawned hard. "Yes! There's a house here! How many times do I have to tell you?" Jade glowered at his backside as she followed him to this magical house wherever it was.
Soon a house came into view behind some tall trees and rock formations as they walked closer to a mountain opposite to the left from the mountain that was the entrance. It was a large beautiful house. She wondered how this could be, but she couldn't wait to see how the beds were in there.
Jade could pretty much bed down almost anywhere as long as it was comfortable enough. Drago opened the unlocked door and led Jade to his mother's bedroom. He knew she wasn't going to be there since she was staying at Sid's place then.
Jade was too tired to appease her many questions and sank down into the soft, yet firm bed. Drago did the same and was out like a light in seconds. Jade brushed his shoulder with the back of her hand tenderly.
"You're such a jerk..." she whispered softly. "But I love you anyway..." She then buried her head in a pillow and swiftly drifted off into a deep sleep.
The next morning, Jade awoke suddenly and wondered what time it was. Seeing that the sun was nearly overhead in the sky, she knew was seriously late for work. Drago was still sleeping as he always did after having long joyous intercourse. Jade was glad to see there was actually a clock hanging in the room, but it was of no use to her. The second hand was not ticking, meaning the batteries were dead in it.
"Drago! Drago? Wake up, you jerk! I am so late for work it's not even funny! Come on, wake up you stupid gecko!" she cried, rushing about trying to find her shoes.
Drago groggily woke up in a huff. "I am getting sick and tired of you calling me a gecko... I'm a dragon, d-mn it. A drag-gon." he said, emphasizing the last word. "Duh."
"You're mud if you don't hurry up and get me back home. If I'm not there, Jim will freak out and think you did something to me and send out a task force or something crazy like that." Jade said, finally finding her shoes.
"Alright, alright!" he growled, getting out of bed then. "Get off my back. I don't need any unnecessary heat right now, so I'll get you home dragon speed. Get on." He bent down so she could climb onto his back.
Jade worried like crazy as Drago took her from the magical Safe Haven place and headed towards her home. What if Jim already took over Section 13 and she was no longer considered a boss there? He could easily persuade everyone to dismiss her position and see her as a traitor if he told them anything about her and Drago.
As they traveled back to her house, she asked him if he didn't mind helping her in busting the Slipper Sipper case wide open. He agreed since he loved to fight and show off his dragon strength. She told him where to meet her later that night.
"Alright. I'll be there. Hey, Jade. I want to be an agent again. Then I can see you more often and get the 411 on anything going on." he said, but Jade couldn't really allow that.
If Jim ever discovered Jade let the enemy back into their secret base, he would probably put her on trial for treason. Even though she trusted Drago, she didn't trust him THAT much!
"Sorry, Drago. But I need you to be more an undercover super duper secret agent on the outside for me. If Jim ever knew I let you back in Section 13 willingly, he had me on the stand. And I don't have time for that when I have bad guys to bust." she said.
"Hey, I thought I was number one on your Most Wanted list! What the h-ll happened?"
"You still are... It's just I find you so hot and sexy, I can't resist you!" she purred, snuggling against him. Drago laughed hard and quite evilly too then.
"I TOLD you my dragon charm was too much for you, sweetie! Didn't I tell you that? Ha ha hahaa!!"
Jade shook her head. "It's just that we got to know each other better and I grew to like you so much, you ugly gecko-freak. You saved my life so many times, I lost count. I care about you now." she admitted.
"Mmm, peachy! As long as I'm number one on your list for sex, I'll be happy as a dragon with a thousand eggs to devour!"
Jade decided to not reply to that one. She had to ask him where they were at the night before. "By the way, what is that magical place we stayed at last night and this morning called? Do you know anything about it?"
"That place is Safe Haven. My mom was hiding in there to escape from my dad. That house, I don't know anything about it. I think Mom said it was there when she first got there." he said whizzing past trees in the vast Northeastern Woods.
"I can REALLY see why your mom wanted to get away from Shendu. He's an even bigger jerk than you." Jade said, getting disgusted thinking about that Fire demon. He was such a rotten bully and so arrogant just because he was a demon sorcerer. He was a super grade A jerk, that was for sure!
Drago grunted a response. "Dad failed at keeping Mom close. She ran away from him and I won't repeat the mistakes he made. See how close you want to be with me?"
"Yes, I know." Jade replied affectionately.
"Anyway, Safe Haven can be our own special place from now on." Jade hugged his neck tighter then. "Sounds cozy. Our own private beach, house, and everything." she agreed, loving that beautiful place.
Getting closer to Jade's house, she stopped Drago and he let her down. "I can take it from here. Thanks for the lift and for all the fun last night. I really enjoyed being with you again..." she said gently in a warm tone. Drago grinned proudly, taking her into his arms for one last quick embrace.
"Naturally! Any slave of mine would feel this way automatically. Duh!" he said friskily, swishing his tail about lazily. Jade gave him a strong serious look.
"Drago, do you still see me only as a slave? I was hoping you'd see me differently on a more respectable level..." she said, her voice hinting worried hurt. Drago looked away quickly, not wanting to address this at this time either. But she expected an answer and he knew he had better give a good one or he would only give her a reason to run to that Jim idiot.
"Of course I see you differently now... You're my girl, my sweetheart... And I was meaning to tell you ever since we first went to Safe Haven that... that I... I... I lov-..." Drago bit his lip hard, this was so embarrassing! He was a tough guy, not a wall flower!
"I-I love you, Jade..." he said quickly, his demon side wanting to bite his tongue off. How could he dare express true feelings to a slave like this? He was nothing more but a weak sentimental fool! But his human side disagreed completely and was proud of him.
Jade had heard him say those words many times carelessly when he was disguised as Drake, but this time it was different. She couldn't tell how she knew, but she did. She knew he meant what he said was for real. Experiencing a hate and love relationship was hard on her, but it seemed that only love was standing for them now.
She was so happy as she kissed him joyfully. His returned kisses were, for once, not lust-orientated. She loved him so much, just like before, possibly even stronger too. When she first had her crush on Hsi Wu when he was disguised as Seymour, she was sure she couldn't love another like how she did for him.
But she was wrong and she was very happy that she was. She felt as if she had Hsi Wu back in a strange twisted sense through Drago and that alone made her feel really content.
"I love you too, Drago. You don't know how much..." she whispered with tears in her eyes. Drago hugged her tightly to himself as if he was trying to become one with her.
"Do you love me more than Hsi Wu?" he asked, wondering. He needed her to say it.
"Yes!" Jade cried, not hesitating to deliver her answer. She felt Drago's whole body shake with a powerful inhale and exhale of air then. Like he had accomplished something great and wonderful.
"Thanks, Jade. You made me one happy dragon."
They shared one last kiss and hug before he ran off back to the Northeastern Woods. She blew him kisses as he turned and waved every few steps away he took. Then he was gone.
Jade couldn't stop smiling as she relived her exciting fun times with Drago. Having him admit his love to her was really amazing and something special. He meant it, he really meant it! Jade wasn't sure if there could be any more room for happiness in her now. She felt as if she could walk on air.
Then reality set it and she made herself put on the gas to get to work. Hopefully Jim didn't lock down Section 13 yet into an all man hunt for her. She really really REALLY hoped she wasn't too late.
