J2: The Deception
As Jade entered her office at Section 13, Jim, seemingly appeared from nowhere, was going in right after her. He looked worried and upset.
"Where were you? You know we have to get the SS investigation under way today!" he said in a distressed tone. "I was so worried that I thought something bad happened to you!"
Jade sighed. Well, at least he didn't send out a task force to look for her. Whew!
"I had a really bad headache this morning, so I slept in until it went away. Don't worry about it. It'll get done. I'm going to find out who the big cheese is over there by myself. Just make sure that new report on Mike Marlone gets through to Captain Black. Bad old Mike won't be too hard to put behind bars. I already got a lot of evidence against him." Jade said, going through some paperwork waiting for her.
Jim looked relieved. Like he bought her lie about her having a headache and that was why she was late. He handed her some more paperwork.
"Jade, I need you to look these over too. I got more info about the Slipper Sipper and who runs it and everything."
"Who?" Jade was VERY interested in that.
"Mike Marlone. I got it all here. He's been seen at the Slipper Sipper repetitively and he's got a new general. They call him 'The Tom'. It's said that he has supposedly enhanced his genetic makeup with lion DNA, so he's pretty dangerous. I can come with you if you need me to."
"No, it's alright. You got to find out more on that the Flash Bang gang in the meantime. Captain Black said they might hiding out somewhere in the Yole Willows. Take your team over there and spy on them. I want them busted right away too. Their kidnapping for ransom days are over. I want a full report tomorrow on them." Jade said, checking the database on her computer.
"Jade..." Jim said, looking apologetic. "I'm sorry about what I said when we fought yesterday. I-I didn't mean it. I was just so upset. I mean, I really...really enjoy being around you. My heart aches when I'm without you, so I kinda lost it before. I don't want to lose you."
Jade felt a huge lump grow in her throat then. Poor Jim! How could she tell him how she really felt now? She did like him still, but she loved Drago. She feared that if she told him this, he would fly off the handle and go all black chi magic forever.
She could tell he wouldn't be ok with them just being regular friends, he wanted more than that from her. The problem was that she couldn't give him more. She decided to keep him in the dark for a while, until the time was right to let him down gently.
Jade just worried that the right time might never come along. She didn't want to look like a two-timer, but she had no choice. Things were too dicey right now.
"I know, Jimbo. It's ok. I'm not angry at you..." she said, wanting to confront him about the dark chi spell he allegedly placed on her, but now was not the time for that either. She felt too awkward to ask him. And it would only lead them into a new argument.
"I'm glad. I want things to be alright between us, you know?" Jim looked a bit nervous. He wasn't used to asking her out on dates even though they had gone places before. "So, uh, want to go to Quarter Roses restaurant later tonight?"
Jade swallowed hard. If she refused, Jim might catch on that she was going to see Drago instead and go nutty nuts all over again. She really didn't want that.
"Sure, I'd like that." she accepted. Jim looked ecstatic. "Great. I'll pick you up at your house after work. Is seven-ish alright?" he asked, smiling. Jade smiled back even though she felt uneasy. "That's fine. See you then."
"Sure." Jim got a serious look on his face. "Be careful during the investigation, Jade. Marlone's going to be really dangerous this time around. Take care."
"I will. Don't worry about me. Worry about yourself. That Flash Bang gang isn't exactly friendly. So, you take care, 'k?"
Jim grinned. "I'll be just fine." he said in a strange tone. He wasn't going to admit that he was still using dark chi magic, it was a big help to him with missions and keeping Jade close.
With his cloaking spell on Jade, Drago wouldn't be able to find her no matter how hard he looked. That way she would be safe and all Jim's to keep for himself. He believed things were going well and couldn't wait for his date with Jade that night.
After Jade finished the most important of her paperwork, she got ready to get the SS investigation started. She checked her watch and saw she had less than an hour to get to the downtown district to the Slipper Sipper. It wasn't exactly close by so she had to hurry.
She called a cab and hoped Drago would be there waiting for her. She figured he would since he didn't like missing out on any action. She needed his fire power and uncanny strength to take these scumbags down.
Jade felt a tinge of fear as she stepped out of the taxi cab as she walked down the dark dirty streets near the Slipper Sipper. The downtown district was always crawling with low-lives, a blood-thirsty thug could appear at anytime and attack her. She wasn't afraid of that part, but she was worried about Drago. What if he didn't show up? She was depending heavily upon him for this one.
She didn't want anyone at Section 13 to go with her on this. She believed they would only get hurt and even get killed needlessly. Why risk that when she could have Drago help her and she was very confident that he wouldn't get hurt or killed easily. Dragon armor was obviously bullet-proof, it definitely was knife-proof.
She worried like crazy while she looked into alleyways for Drago. She had told him to hide in one of them near the Slipper Sipper so she could find him quickly. What if he didn't come? What if he forgot? Ten minutes had already gone by. She really REALLY needed him here!
She nearly jumped out of her skin when she felt a heavy hand fall on her shoulder. She turned around the same time he said, "What's your problem?"
Jade gave him a stern look. "You don't need to scare me like that!" she cried, on edge. This wasn't good. All her troubled thoughts and worrying was taking her mind off the mission.
"So sorry, boss." he replied sarcastically. "I've been itching all day to kill some idiots, so let's go."
Jade had to stop him. "Look, you're not supposed to kill these guys." she said as Drago gave her a contemptuous disgusted snort. "Just play along so I can get more inside information on them. Remember, you're a rich guy wanting to buy their drugs and underaged prostitutes. And I'm a rich gal who wants to buy the guns."
Drago coughed irritably. "I have to pretend I'm shopping when I don't get anything in the end for my money. Oh yeah, that's real fun and exciting." he said sarcastically.
"Don't get smart, Drago. I'll pay you for this, so stop complaining! Just follow my lead. Mike Marlone, the boss of STN Export Corporation, is also in charge of the Slipper Sipper smuggling ring too. He's GOT to be put away for good."
Drago gave her a strange look. "Why not just blow his f-ing head off?" he asked, his bright red garnet eyes flashing. "I can do that in an instant."
"I bet you'd love to. No, that scumbag needs to suffer a lifetime in jail. That's more what he deserves."
A playful laugh reverberated from Drago's throat. "Well, ok. Suffering is better than letting them off easy in death. You got a point there." he said, grinning. Jade waved her hands at him to be quiet.
"Shh! It's just you and me in this one, so let's get this mission started. You can go in like how you look now. Those drugged-up jerks won't know the difference. Just say you had a lot of plastic surgery so you could look like a dragon if they say anything. I've got to find out where they are smuggling the illegal stuff in at and shut it down for good."
Jade looked at her notepad to the pass codes she wrote down from her informant who had been spying on the Slipper Sipper for months. With these codes she could gain access to the right people within the night club. They were really cautious sellers, not selling to anyone. The buyers had to have money and lots of it.
"Ok, you and I are buyers of the illegal goods. They are supposed to take us to a back room to have us meet their underlings and then they'll take us to their lower level boss guy. Once they think they can trust us, they'll take us to wherever they're hiding the drugs, guns, and the kids they're using as prostitutes to be rented out." she said, putting on her black shades and a pair of ear plugs to combat the loud music in the night club.
Jade went up to the entrance of the Slipper Sipper and the bouncer let them pass, which amazed her. They really didn't notice things like scaly dragon teens in this place! The music inside the night club was incredibly loud and Jade was very sickened to see practically naked stripper women dancing about on a stage. Everyone was either dancing, screaming, yelling, drinking, and smoking.
Drago took immediate interest and began to wander off towards the stage. Jade angrily grabbed his arm quickly and tugged him to the back room where customers were supposed to go if they wanted to buy any illegal goods and or prostitutes.
One of the two guards at the back door looked at them strangely. "Whatta'ya want?" one shouted, so he could be heard over the loud music.
"I got Hot Wages!" Jade shouted back, then pointed to Drago. "He's with me!" The goons seemed to understand the code. They unlocked the door behind them, opened it, and let them enter.
"Follow the stairs down! Knock when you reach the door!" the first guard shouted. They went in and the goons shut the door. A long stairway before them was winding downward.
They went down it and got away from the loud pounding music finally. "Ugh, I can barely hear after all that, even wearing ear plugs! And I couldn't see through all that stupid smoke, sheesh!" she cried, pulling the plugs out and putting them into her pocket and coughing a little. Drago laughed. "That's hardly anything compared the screaming and stinking we had to put up with at the Mars' moons' space stations. And don't forget Hell either."
Jade rolled her eyes, smirking. "How could I forget? You're right." she replied, seeing the end of the stairway at last. A door was there just like the guard had said. There was a sliding eye trap near the middle, but upwards towards the top more.
Jade let Drago knock on it, well pound on it hard. She was surprised the door was still standing after he rammed it with the side of his claw several times. Whoever was in that room must have heard them by now.
In a few moments, the door trap slide open and a pair of mean green eyes looked out at them. Jade quickly said the right codes. "It's Jazzy Tootie-Fruitie time." she said, feeling strange saying that code. Ugh! What a stupid thing to say!
The sliding eye door shut suddenly, a lock turning sounded, and then the door opened up. Drago gave Jade an annoyed look. This was so boring! Jade ignored his irritated impatient look and went through the door. He followed her and the door was shut and locked behind them.
"Ah, buyers! What are you interested in?" said a man with huge pointy nose sitting behind a desk. He was probably the lower level boss guy.
"Anything and everything." Jade said, dodging a guarding thug that tried to make a grab for her rump. Drago noticed that and growled viciously at thug. He hastily hurried to the other side of the room to get away from the angry teen.
The mini boss seemed amused. "Hey, you remind me of ol' Tommy-boy! So animal-like, that's wild! A lizard man, eh?"
Drago snarl-grunted in distaste. "Dragon..." Idiotic humans!
The boss whistled in admiration, got out of his chair and circled Drago, looking him over. "Look at this guy! He's got real scales and a tail and everything! Unbelievable! Woo, will the wonders of plastic surgery ever cease?"
Drago watched him like a hawk, growling the entire time. "This isn't plastic surgery..." he hissed in a low touchy tone. Jade rolled her eyes. Why did he always have to get so testy so fast?
"Altered your DNA, eh? Just like Tommy-boy! Exactly." He returned back to his chair and sat down. "Yeah, you must be loaded! Okay, boys, take them to the warehouses to go shopping." He snapped his fingers and two thugs ushered them out.
They were taken to a car and the same thug that tried to grab Jade motioned her to get in the front seat. He inappropriately touched her breasts while he was 'motioning' with his hands, enraging Drago.
"A-shole!"
He punched the man in the gut hard enough to knock him off his feet before Jade could do so herself. The other thug suddenly drew a gun and aimed it at Drago. He shook with fright since he was very scared of Drago. He was super wary of the Tom and this lizard man seemed to be his reptilian twin. Those kinds of 'animal-like' men freaked him out.
"Hey! Take it easy there, lizard man! Remmy didn't mean any harm! He always treats the lady customers to ride shotgun."
Remmy groaned, slowly getting up. He held his gut while coughing. "Put the piece away, Joe. I'm fine." He got up and hinted that he wanted Jade in the front seat. Drago growled hatefully, spooking Joe further.
"Get in, lady." Remmy said, holding the car door open for Jade. Drago grabbed her arm and pulled her towards him. "NO! She's sitting next to me!" he practically shouted. Jade shook her arm free, kicking him a bit.
"Knock it off, Drago! I have to watch out for something." she hissed at him under her breath and sat down in the front seat then, infuriating the hot-headed teen more so. There she goes again with not listening to him! ROAR!
"Are you going to get into the car or are you staying here?" Remmy asked, a challenging smirk on his long angular face. Drago glared at him hatefully before angrily getting into the backseat. Joe nervously got in next to him, trying to stay as far away as he could.
Drago growled at Joe and looked ahead, with his arms crossed. If that Remmy guy touched Jade just one more time, he would disembowel him slowly.
Remmy got into the driver's seat and began driving away, heading for back roads only. "Here we go." he said in a sing-song voice, annoying Drago immensely.
"How long is it going to take to get to wherever we're going?" Drago said, gritting his teeth angrily. Remmy tapped his fingers against the steering wheel to a rhythm he was humming, taking his time to reply.
"Be patient, lizard man. We'll get there soon enough."
Drago growled and growled. This was going to be a long night!
"When Tom gives us the 'ok', he'll show you two the goods then." Joe explained during the car ride. "Good." Jade replied, watching the surroundings around them whiz by. She was carefully trying to memorize where they were going.
Finally they reached a bunch of warehouses in the eastern side of the city. They were the same warehouses that were abandoned months before near a docking bay. It brought a lot of memories to Jade and Drago, since it was the same place where they first met.
Jade felt a bit strange. Last time she was here, it was on hateful killing terms when she was out to kill Drago. But she failed and he marked her at the docks. It brought back bad memories to her, which she didn't like to think about then. Things were so much the opposite now between her and him. She loved him and he loved her.
Drago knew this area inside and out, so it would be easy for him to attack these fools head-on. He knew all kinds of potential escape routes here and had the upper hand. Remmy and Joe told them that they had to be looked over by 'the Tom' himself.
They were taken into one warehouse that had been really fixed up inside. Standing in the middle of the storage building, a very large man slowly walked out from the dark shadows into the dim moonlight. Jade would have killed for some daylight saving's time, but it was October and night always came early these days.
Jade gasped at the sight of the Tom. He looked like the big cat, a lion complete with thick long bushy blonde mane. He had heavy claws and he seemed to be covered in fur. Even in the moonlight, she noted the slit-like pupils in his eyes, just like a real cat.
He curled his lip in disgust, growling. "Payment first." he snarled, narrowing his eyes at both of them. Drago irritably pulled out wad of bills wrapped in a rubber band and tossed it to him. The cat man caught it quickly and pulled the rubber band off. He fanned the bills to his ear to count the money then tucked the cash into his coat's inside pockets.
"Come with me." Tom said, leading them to a small room. It appeared to be a waiting room since Tom went behind a door in that room to go get something. It didn't take him long to bring out two poorly dressed young girls and a bundle of illegal drugs plus some laser weapons.
"This is what you get for what you paid. You can have these two, they don't make much renting business for me anyway." Tom said, shoving the girls towards Jade and Drago.
One girl seemed to be maybe fifteen and the other was only about thirteen years old. Jade had to hold back her anger. She desperately wanted to shut this operation down ASAP.
Both girls cried out in fear and shock at the sight of Drago. The fifteen year old girl was pushed to him by the Tom and automatically rushed to Jade's side after seeing how the fire teen looked.
Tom had raped and beaten them many times before. They were starved more often than not. They feared Drago greatly, thinking he was a new different version of Tom.
The fifteen year old girl's name was Hua and the thirteen year old girl's name was Genji. They were both runaways that tried to make it on their own, but ended up being prostitute slaves and shipped overseas to be sold to Tom and abused.
They wanted to get back home, but they were always watched and never had much privacy. They had no chance to escape, it all seemed like an impossibility. Even if they did get away from Tom, they had no way of getting back home without money. Tom barely fed them, let alone paid them.
Jade wished she could take this Tom guy in to interrogate him, grill him like crazy, and find out where they're hiding the rest of the underaged pimped girls, the guns, and drugs, plus where it was all being smuggled in at. But she couldn't. Not yet. She had to get these girls to safety first, then come back with Section 13's task force to rescue the rest.
Of course, that would happen after she had the place secured by Drago. He could easily get them under submission, Jade was sure of that. She just worried he would go berserk and kill them all anyway.
Drago looked at the young girls irritably. They were both scrawny and sickly-looking. Boy, these idiots sure knew how to rip him off! They weren't even fit enough to eat, they were living skeletons.
"Can't get rid of them any other way, huh?" Drago commented. Jade glared at him, angrily. "Zip it! We'll take them and the drugs and guns. But we'll be back for more with more money if you tell us where and when you're smuggling in the newest goods. I'll make sure it's worth your time, believe me. My scaly friend here is beyond loaded, so if you wanna sell, you better tell."
"I mean look at him! You can tell altering DNA ain't cheap. You'd know that better than anyone else. If you got the goods, we've got the cash, but we only want the freshest you got coming in." Jade went on, hoping to convince the lion man to give her the info she wanted desperately.
Tom raised a hairy eyebrow, appearing impressed. "Deal. Come back in two days if you want to purchase the newest merchandise. Come a little before midnight, the ship comes in about half an hour after midnight."
Jade grinned. She had them now! With all that evidence coming in by boat, she could put the Slipper Sipper under forever! That would be one of her greatest accomplishments in her career. She had to succeed without fail. Marlone had better watch out now. Yes!
"We'll be back by then." Jade said, heading for the door. Tom nodded and watched them leave with the sniveling young girls. Remmy and Joe escorted them back to the car to take them back to the night club.
Hua and Genji worried for their lives then. They knew the Tom wouldn't kill them since he saw more worth in them alive than dead. But these new owners, they knew nothing about them. What if they wanted to torture and kill them? Running away from home seemed like the biggest mistake of their lives.
Hua ran away since her parents wouldn't let her fool around with older guys. She sure had plenty of older guys to fool around with now. All of them were disgusting, usually wanting oral and anal sex while most were diseased. Being returned home seemed like an impossible dream.
Genji left home since her parents expected her to be home by nine every night, even on the weekends and didn't allow her to wear makeup or see boys. She had to wear so much makeup now that her skin was in terrible shape and she wished she never had to see another 'boy' again. She wished she could be back with her so-called 'controlling' parents now.
Remmy dared not to flirt with Jade anymore, not with more people about. He didn't like having witnesses around, especially not having more girls see him get creamed by Drago. Big jerk, thinks he's so great with his fancy enhanced DNA. Hmph!
Remmy and Joe let them out at the Slipper Sipper soon enough to ease Drago's impatience. Tom let them know that they were going to be back with more cash during the next shipment, so they had to pick them up and take them back to the warehouses in two days.
"Just come to the downstairs back room like you did today and everything will be fine." Remmy said, grinning suavely at Jade. Drago growled like tiger at him. 'Just drive off, you moron!' he thought with much malice. He did NOT like how Remmy was looking at Jade over and over. He had enough trouble keeping Jim away from Jade. Finally Remmy did drive away, taking Joe with him.
Jade pulled out her cel phone to call for help at Section 13 to take the girls away and have them questioned, then sent to their homes. Drago grew uneasy hearing her call for backup like that. He didn't exactly want anyone seeing him from Section 13, except Jade. They caught him once, he didn't want to get caught again. Not when they had a weapon that could knock him out cold. He kept his distance in the shadows while Jade talked to the girls.
"Ok, tell me your names and what happened to you two." she said, looking them directly in their eyes. They shifted nervously, glancing back to where Drago hid himself in the darkness of the alley.
"He won't hurt us, will he?" Hua asked, scared to death. "He looks like the Tom! He'll hurt us!" Genji cried, unable to stop her frightened tears from running down her red cheeks.
Jade shook her head quickly. "Oh, no, no, no! He won't hurt you, don't worry." She paused, turning her head towards him then. "Not while I'm here anyway." she said under her breath. She looked back to the girls again.
"Just tell me your names and what happened. And where you were kept at. How many more underaged girls does that Tom guy have besides you two? You can trust me, I'm a secret agent in law enforcement. I'm going to help you both get home, you can trust me." Jade explained, pressing for answers.
Hua slowly began to tell her everything about how they were raped and tortured, while Genji silently cried. Jade was more determined than ever to shut down the SS operation and put Mike Marlone away for the rest of his life, with no patrol too.
Eventually, a special unmarked Section 13 car pulled up to pick the girls up. To Jade's horror, Jim was there with Carl, who was driving the car.
"I heard you needed backup, so here I am. Did you find anything new out?" he asked, motioning for her to get in the car with him. Jade refused to get into the car and backed away.
"I found out plenty. I know where they're smuggling in everything at too. Two days from tonight, they'll have a new shipment coming in then at the docking bay near the warehouses at the eastern side of the city. Be ready at midnight and wait for my signal. The general said the ship comes in after one-thirty." Jade said, checking her watch. She didn't want to tell them the real time the ship was coming in, since she needed time to get the place under lock down with Drago's help.
She doubted anyone at Section 13 would approve of her methods, especially not Jim, so she kinda had to keep it a secret that Drago was helping her on missions.
It was almost seven. She knew she wouldn't have enough time to shower, change into nicer clothes, and go on a date with Jim right then. She wondered how to break it off with him somehow when Jim spoke up.
"Come on, Jade. Get in, it's almost seven. Carl can drop us off at the restaurant, it's along the way." he said, smiling. Jade thought hard of an excuse to make on the spot that was good enough to not raise any hostile feelings in Jimmy-boy.
"Uh, can't. I gotta rescue the other girls from that General Tom. I know where they're being held at. Don't worry about me. I'll call Captain Black if I need help. You go back to your assignment, that's an order." Jade said, backing away more into the alley. Jim's happy smile melted away to an angry frown, but he seemed to understand the importance of saving the other girls right away.
"Ok, Jade. Be careful." he replied with much irritation in his voice. Jade wasted no time disappearing into the alley. Jim was really sure she was trying to see Drago again and did not like that at all. His hiding spell he put on her wouldn't work if she was too close to Drago even if Jim was near her too. Drago had to be far away first when she was near Jim for that spell to work.
Jim decided to spy on her to make sure Jade was really going to do what she said she was going to do. He made Carl drop him off several blocks away and began to track down Jade with his black magic...
Jade returned to where Drago was waiting in the alley and tried to tell him what the girls told her. He growled in aggravation. "I already know, I heard what they said. I also heard what that Jim-idiot said too..." he said gruffly.
She felt a bit guilty then, like she was caught two-timing or something like that. "What? The restaurant bit? So what? Jim's my friend still. I can go to restaurants with Jim if I want to."
"Oh, you wanted to?"
"No, I didn't want to really. I just don't want him going all black magic on me. If I refuse his offers, then he'll go nuts. And I have enough trouble as it is. Besides, I turned him down now. I have to rescue the other girls and I need your help." Jade blew her bangs out of her eyes in exasperation.
Drago narrowed his eyes. "Are you telling me we have to go back to those stupid warehouses again? D-mn, it's close to fifty miles away here! No way! If you hit on that place twice in one night, they'll know cops are sniffing about and close up shop. There could be more girls put away somewhere besides the warehouses. You don't know everything yet. Get that 'cat-wanna-be' Tom to talk after busting them when that new shipment comes in. Duh!"
Jade stopped to think over what he said and realized he was right. It would be better and safer to save the girls when the next shipment came in. She would have loads of evidence and have that Tom guy on the ropes, he might tell her everything to get less jail time. Marlone wouldn't have enough time to skip town too if she waited.
She suddenly realized this was why she had Drake aka Drago as her second-in-command. He was always good at strategizing, knowing the best way to defeat the enemy.
She almost wished she could have him back at Section 13, but that was out of the question. Surely Jim had told everyone there who Drake really was by now ever since he accidentally sent her to those space stations on Mars' moons.
Even though she was sort of blindly trusting Drago now, she knew others wouldn't. He had poisoned them to shut Section 13 down so they wouldn't get in his way of his crimes of destruction. But Jade was convinced that he was going to give up his evil ways now that they were lovers. She could get him to be human, she had to!
She knew love changed people and she was pretty sure it had changed Drago for the better. Criminal activity from him stopped all together ever since she had befriended him. She knew him well and even knew his parents. She was slowly believing he was simply misunderstood and it was Shendu's fault for Drago being evil.
She began to think up excuses for him that she normally would never do for any other criminal. She just loved him too much and was making very special exceptions for him. Exceptions she knew Jim and many others would never accept. This was quite a dilemma for her.
"You're right, Drago. I always leap before I look." she admitted, feeling a little silly. Drago smiled almost kindly at her, a sort of fond look of affection. He always liked being told he was right about things. "I know. This kinda feels like old times, hm? You think up careless ideas and I fix them before you rush in and get killed." he said, going close to her. She welcomed his warm strong embrace.
"Yeah, yeah, I know. That's why I hired you in the first place, Scaly. Mmm..." She happily breathed in as she buried her face into his robust chest. "Ohh, I better get home now. I'm so hungry." she mumbled, feeling the network of firm muscles in his back.
"How about we get some more Chinese take-out? I know how much you love it." he teased. He knew she wasn't crazy about Chinese food. She looked up at him as she whacked him on the chest playfully.
"You jerk! No, no Chinese take-out. I've got a lot of food at home. First, I gotta clock out. Just meet me at my house." she said, tapping his nose with her finger. "Don't forget to pay me for the work I did today." Drago said, holding her in a strong dominating manner.
Jade knew what he had in mind whenever his hugs got aggressive like this. She definitely knew what kind of payment he wanted exactly. She almost didn't mind either even though they had made love like crazy the day before.
"Ok, I'll give you what you want..." she said softly, tracing the outline of his facial horns along the left side of his face. He smiled, becoming playful and cheerful.
"And what do you think I want?" he asked, his tone frisky and his smile wide. Jade rolled her eyes. Boy, was that ever a dumb question!
"Oh, I don't know." she teased, dancing her fingers up and down his chest. "Maybe, how about this...?" She kissed him erotically, slowly sliding her lips down his chin to his throat then back up to his mouth. She reached down and rubbed his groin, fondling him well through his heavy baggy pants. He moaned in delight, kissing her back with strong passion.
"Mmm, ohh, yeaaahh! That's what I want alright!" he exclaimed several moments later. Jade snuggled him, giving his crotch one last hard loving squeeze. "Yes, I know. That's practically all you want." she said, kissing him once more before pulling away. Drago reluctantly let her go.
"I'll see you later tonight." Jade said, waving as she went to the street to get a cab so she could return to Section 13 and clock out so she could go home. Drago watched her go, feeling very pleased that a certain spying-someone saw them. He knew that Jim was watching them just moments ago. Drago was sure that Jim had seen Jade being intimate with him, fondling him and all.
Drago climbed up to the rooftops purposely to entice Jim to confront him before he made his way to Jade's house. Jim, dressed in that red garnet outfit again, was suddenly behind him, just like Drago hoped. The dragon teen knew this and stopped, turning around. Since Jim was wearing that ridiculous mask, Drago couldn't see his expression, but he was very sure that Jim was furious.
Good.
"Stalking me isn't wise, human." Drago commented, crossing his arms. Jim pulled his mask off in anger and pointed a finger at Drago. His eyes were flaming with hateful jealousy.
"Stay away from Jade, monster!" he ordered, a snarl of hate plastered upon his face. Drago laughed heartily. "Won't do you much good if I did. She comes to me..." he paused a moment to emphasize his next word with a sly smile. "...willingly."
Jim pointed his barracuda fish weapon at his rival. "Take your mark and curse off Jade! You obviously have her under some sort of spell to MAKE her favor you, but I won't let you get away with it! Free Jade or else!"
Drago rolled his eyes. "Or else what? You're going to 'make' me by blasting me with black chi? Get real. Didn't you hear me the first time? I said Jade comes to me willingly! By the way, I thought Jade told you not to use black magic, Jimmy. Tsk, tsk! You're naughty-haughty." He wagged his clawed right index finger at him.
"Don't ever call me 'Jimmy' again!" Jim shouted. Dark energy exploded from the barracuda's mouth, hitting Drago in the chest. It pushed him two steps back, almost making him lose his balance.
This instantly angered Drago. The fiery teen jumped at him quickly, grabbing him by his collar and lifting him off his feet. Growling inhumanly, he threw the man to the other side of the roof they were on.
"Don't mess with me, human! You're gonna get burned!" Drago opened his mouth wide and breathed a stream of fire at Jim. He jumped out of the way in time. Drago threw several fireballs at Jim until the man tripped and fell on his knees. Immediately, Drago was upon him, punching wildly. In a jealous rage, Jim punched back just as savagely.
The fight in Jim annoyed Drago something terrible. He was nothing, but a lowly human! How could he have the guts to fight back like this? The scaly teen grabbed Jim by the throat and began to crush him. In a strangled string of words, Jim chanted the best he could to summon his army of Iso's. The blue-purple and red maroon beasts appeared from the darkness just like how the ShadowKhan used to.
One beast seized the surprised fiery teen off his feet, causing him to release Jim's neck then. "What the h-ll is this? Let go!" Drago yelled, wildly kicking at his captor. It finally let him go when his horned elbows and clawed feet stabbed the creature. The other Iso monsters went over to subdue the teenager and it took six of them to hold him down.
Jim walked over, feeling as if he had won the battle. He callously kicked Drago in the face until his jealous fury was satisfied somewhat. Drago growled viciously at the man in red garnet.
"Pathetic! You NEED to have these ugly bastards pin me down so you can actually hit me! You could never overpower me on your own, human!" he hissed, trying to breathe fire at Jim's feet since the Iso monsters were holding his head and whole body down to the rooftop. Another hateful blow to the jaw stopped him temporarily.
"I can easily overpower you once I get the other half of the Arcana. Once I find it, you'll be dead and Jade will come back to me. You're the only thing in my way at getting Jade! She's mine, you hear? MINE!" Jim shouted, blasting Drago with his fish weapon with some electrical attack.
Drago was not immune to electrical or water attacks, so Jim's dark chi blow caused the teen throe. Jim watched his rival's misery in glee, smiling. To his dismay, Drago recovered swiftly since he had a good comeback for him moments later.
"She'll never go to you, especially if she knew you caused me to die. But you'll never be able to kill me, NEVER!" In a awesome display of supreme inhuman strength, Drago shoved the Iso beasts off his back two at a time. The monsters popped into dark chi mist as they landed all over various places on the rooftop. Jim glowered at the green teen hatefully.
"I HAVE to kill you, you monster! I MUST! I will fight for Jade, I've always liked her since we were kids! Then you had to come along and mess up her mind! You cursed her! You have her under a spell! Let her go! D-mn you!" Jim yelled, racing at Drago again. The two fought several moments more punching and kicking and blocking each other.
At one point, Drago caught Jim's wrist in mid-punch and with lightning dragon speed, he was behind Jim holding his arm behind him, trying to break it.
"I don't have her under any spells, you idiot! I like my slaves to be willing so I don't have to chase after them. Get it? She comes to me because she wants to! She wants me, NOT you! Live with it!"
Jim savagely kicked backwards and shot aimlessly behind him with his barracuda, hitting Drago in the shin with another electric attack. The teen cried out in pain and shock as he lost his hold on the man in red. He hissed at him hatefully.
"Knock that the h-ll off! Can't you fight without using magic? You WEAKLING!!!" Drago roared, hatefully.
Jim faced his enemy, eyes burning. He had seen Jade touch the green beast before him in ways he dared she would touch him someday. She did look like she wanted to touch Drago too... It bothered him to no end and Drago's words hit him hard.
Did he have no hope in this battle to win Jade over? Had he already lost long ago? No! He couldn't give up, he would fight until he had Jade or he was dead. He had to have her!
"You MUST have done something to her! You had to! No woman in her right mind would willingly go to a freak of nature like you! That's impossible!" Jim screamed, nearly losing it. Seeing Jim at the brink of hateful insanity caused by jealousy, Drago smirked. So, this human was that easy to break? Wow! How pathetic!
Since Drago wanted to torment a more sane mind, he decided to leave. The teen ignored Jim's insults and began to walk away. He had wasted too much time already with this jerk anyway. He had better things to do, like be with Jade and enjoying wild sex in the comfort of her large bed.
"All I got to say to you is that I've made the impossible possible." Drago said, jumping off the rooftop and disappearing into the darkness. Jim chased after him, using his dark chi to keep up with Drago's dragon speed. His following caused Drago to lose his temper again and the two once again duked it out.
This time they were in a spacious deserted alley with huge dumpsters. Drago slashed his claws at Jim, slicing his chest open, leaving four long deep scratches on him. Jim winced in pain, but shot back with his barracuda fish weapon.
This attack slammed Drago backwards against a dumpster. The teen growled and hissed at the same time. He charged Jim then, tackling him and sending them into another dumpster. Drago grabbed Jim by his shoulders and rammed him over and over into the metallic dumpster. Then he punched his fist into the man's stomach again and again. And again. Hard.
Jim coughed up blood as Drago kept on punching him, until he let him crumble to the dirty ground. Drago began to kick him mercilessly like how Jim did when the Iso beasts were holding him down earlier on the rooftop.
"How do you like being kicked in the face, huh? HUH? You like it? You f-cking bag of sh-t! I don't need anyone to help me beat the ever living sh-t out of you!" The fire teen cursed on, beating the man to a very bloody mess. Jim quietly mumbled a long chant which Drago mistook for pathetic whimpering and screamed in shock when Jim finished casting his spell.
It was a weird electric attack, hurting Drago well enough to make him back off in confusion. The teen was so disorientated that he began to wander off, pausing to shake his dizzy head. Jim slowly got to his feet and went after him despite his damaged condition. The teen noticed and grew explosively angry.
"Quit following me, you a-shole!" Drago roared, picking up a seven hundred pound metal dumpster as if it was a toy ball and chucked it at Jim. The uncanny strength in the teen caught Jim off guard a bit, since he was sure that the attack had weakened him. But his black magic would surely back him up and aid him.
Jim tried to dodge out of the way as the dumpster smashed into the wall, but the explosion of heavy debris knocked him down to the ground before he had a chance to chant a protection spell. The dumpster toppled over to its side, trapping Jim's right leg.
In his sudden distress and panic, he wasted time trying to pull it free on his own. His leg was stuck for good, there was no way he could pull it out himself. The pain was only getting more and more unbearable, so he struggled to calm down and used his magic to get his leg free. He tried to get back on his feet when he realized he couldn't.
Growling like a dragon, Drago went over to the man to finish him off once and for all. Jim prepared himself to summon the Iso beasts again to help him. He wasn't going to let that green monster kill him so easily, that was for sure!
Just then, a strong stream of ice water and electricity struck Drago, making the teen scream in agony. Jim looked to the source of the attack and saw his best friend, Carl, aiming that special weapon designed just for Drago. What great timing!
Drago struggled to get out of there, desperate to escape the extreme unbearable pain he was suffering all of sudden. He didn't even know who was attacking him, all he knew was that he had to get away.
Carl kept on attacking relentlessly. The weapon was enhanced to be even more deadly than before. Screaming in agony, Drago scrambled away, taking off into the darkness swiftly. Carl rushed to Jim once Drago had fled.
"Are you alright, Jim? I just got back like you told me to just in case and then I heard a boom and so I came rushing over here. Oh man, Jim! Your leg! Jeez! Look at those scratches on you, man! You're bleeding all over!" Carl cried, noting the massive injuries on his friend. "I've got to get you back to Section 13's infirmaries!"
"No! Forget me, just get that monster! Capture him! Hurry!" Jim cried, trying to ignore his pain and blood loss. Carl refused and pulled out his cel phone to call for help.
"Just lie still and be calm. You're losing a lot of blood. Help will be here soon." Carl said, trying to reassure his pal. Jim bit his lip. He had to become much stronger if he wanted to defeat and kill Drago. That would take time, but he was determined to overpower the green scaly teen and get rid of him forever. Then Jade could at last be his...
Drago stumbled through alleyways and back roads as he traveled to Jade's house. He could barely think straight, let along walk. He felt like his body was failing him and he couldn't stay conscious. No way in bloody Hell was he going to just drop over in the street so the humans could find him and lock him up in a cage like some dumb animal.
He had to make it to Jade's house, he had to! She could help him stay awake and not pass out. He needed some healing badly, she could do that for him. He knew he wasn't going to die, but he didn't believe he deserved pain like this! He did give Jim a good beating, but that moron needed it. He didn't smash that idiot's leg. That dummy did that himself since he didn't move out of the way of the dumpster fast enough.
Drago purposely didn't aim well since he only wanted to make Jim leave him alone. He didn't want him completely dead yet, he could torment him more, well as much as his temper would allow. He didn't want to end up like his father and make the same mistakes like he did by just killing off his favorite victims. That was like throwing away a new video game in the trash without playing it first.
To his relief he saw the outside light of Jade's house glowing through the darkness. He staggered to it as fast as he could. Then she could heal him and rid him of some of this pain. Why did he feel so cold? He couldn't stand it, he didn't like having an absence of fire inside him. It was weakening him like crazy!
The icy cold rushed over him in waves and one cold shock sent him tumbling to his knees. Curse the humans and their technology! Drago tried to make himself go on, but he collapsed only a few feet away from Jade's back door, unmoving...
