J2: The Deception
Lily took Jade to a bubbling spring so they could relax a little and also get cleaned up before the upcoming feast that was for welcoming back their 'Messiah' Lord Drago.
Lily wanted to get rid of Jade badly right then, but she knew she had better not now. Drago had seen her go away with Jade and he would be suspicious if only Lily came back.
She already could tell how valuable Jade was to Drago and she did not want to anger him whatsoever by harming Jade openly.
She wanted him to believe that when Jade was gone for good, it was by accident or unfortunate circumstances such as she became ill here from the strange new environment and died from poor health naturally.
She watched Jade enjoying the steaming hot waters with detestation. Lily pretended to be enjoying the spring too and casually started a conversation to find out more about her.
"So... How did you and Lord Drago meet?" Lily asked, looking at Jade. She noticed how sad she looked when she asked her that and began to wonder why. Shouldn't meeting the Messiah be a joyful experience?
"Well... We weren't exactly on good terms when we first met... But after a while we became really good friends and more, so I guess that's all that really matters." Jade replied.
She tried not to think about how vicious and dangerous Drago was to her when they met the first few times long before. She never wanted to relive that Castle Wall incident. She shuddered just thinking about that terrible memory of how Drago used to be...

She just had to change him to be better...to be good. Otherwise she wouldn't be able to stay with him...
No! She didn't even want to consider breaking up with Drago. Even if she couldn't get him to change, she just had to keep him. Somehow...someway! She would do anything to stay with him... She had to. She loved him.
"Ah, so you are in love with him!" Lily said, acting surprised. Jade gave her a funny look. Surely she knew that ahead of time.
Drago never hid his affections for Jade in public and neither did Jade, so Lily must have known that Jade and Drago were an item. It was pretty obvious that Drago and Jade were intense lovers.
"Well, yeah..." Jade refrained from saying 'duh!' then. She didn't want to be rude to this lady. Afterall, she was awfully nice to her, so she shouldn't be impolite back.
Jade had a sneaky suspicion that Lily was probably jealous of her, but she didn't worry too much about it. Though she did want to patch any sore feelings with her just the same.
First impressions with new people were really important. And Jade didn't want any more enemies, she'd rather make friends instead if she could.
"How lucky you are. To be such good friends with the Messiah... Lovers even..." Lily said more to herself, openly showing her envy for a moment. She caught herself and beamed at Jade.
"How happy you must be. Being his chosen one." she said sweetly, yet her tone was venomous. Jade knew she had to fix this right away before it got any worse.
"Look, Lily... I-" Jade paused, feeling awkward. She never thought she'd be faced with a problem such as this. Jade never knew she would have to fight to keep Drago as her boyfriend.
"I don't want any hard feelings between us. I mean, I just met you and I can tell you like Drago..."
"I am betrothed to him and I've earned it. I passed many terrible tests to be worthy for him. My babies were all sacrificed for Shendu... I never got to see any of them nor touch any of them, but I wish I could have held at least one. Now that Lord Drago is now here and able to marry me, losing all my babies will be worth it." Lily explained, making Jade feel terrible and jealous herself.
This whole freaking village was set up to take Drago away from her and have him marry some other woman! No way would Jade stand for that!
She had some confidence though knowing that Drago only wanted her and no other. That gave her a good leg to stand on and that was why she wasn't too overly worried before.
But now, she felt concerned and grew truly worried. What if this crazy village tried to force Drago to marry this lady instead somehow? Or make him have two wives at the same time?
Jade did NOT want to share him. And she especially did not like her status as Drago's fiancée threatened. Not at all.
Plus, Lily was forced to make babies only to have them sacrificed to icky stupid evil Shendu! She felt so torn.
She wanted to help this Lily and make her life better by getting her out of this crazy cult, but then again she also wanted to tear her eyes out for even thinking about taking Drago away from her.
"I'm so sorry that your children were killed as offerings for Shendu... That's why you must leave this cult and get away from here for good! You can wear what you want and do what you want, like shop at malls and enjoy T.V.!" Jade said, hoping to attract her with modern activities.
She could tell these people did not have much technology or anything, they were living in the dark ages it seemed. If she couldn't save them all, at least she could try to save Lily and get her out of this weird mind set that she was to be Drago's wife no matter what.
"I am happy where I am, Jade. Master Shendu forbids any modern lifestyles, we must honor his wishes and live like he does. Then we can truly be at peace." Lily said, brainwashed to no return.
"Uh, that doesn't even make any sense. How can you be at peace walking around practically naked all the time? I mean, doesn't that metal bra thingie hurt?" Jade asked, confused and wary. Lily had to be crazy to want to wear that slutty 'outfit'.
"Not at all. It's an honor I can wear this special metal breast plate as only the woman affianced to Lord Drago can wear it. The others have to wear scratchy burlap cloth where I do not because I have earned my rank to be Lord Drago's bride." Lily said, slightly giving her the evil eye and a touchy attitude spilling out at this point.
"Um, that's earning a mate Shendu's way, not Drago's way. He picked me because he loves me...and I love him back. We have pledged our love months ago so you're too late. I'd appreciate it if you back off from him because he's already taken." Jade said, feeling more weird.
She actually had to fight for Drago! All the times before it was where Drago and Jim fought over her, now she was fighting with Lily over Drago. This was just crazy and too strange!
"I'm sorry Jade, but you're the one who has to back off. Unless you are willing to fight for him... Do you accept the challenge?" Lily asked, hoping that she would.
She could easily make bad accidents happen during the challenge and since death was expected during it, Drago could not complain if his prized female got killed. Well, that's what Lily thought.
"You bet I do! I'll never give him up! I told you, I love him!" Jade yelled back. She couldn't wait to kick Lily's butt to next Tuesday right then and there.
"Then it's settled. Tomorrow we shall battle for the right to marry Lord Drago. Whoever is left standing alive wins." Lily said, liking the look of surprise on Jade's face.
"Hey! What do you mean by whoever is still alive wins? I didn't know there was death involved! I mean, I'm not exactly fond of you right now, but I don't want to have to kill you!" Jade cried, disturbed. Why did these people have to be so freaking hardcore??
"Are you too afraid to take on the challenge then? If that is so, you must back down now. Or will you meet me in battle? Which will it be?" Lily asked, not worried about losing. She was confident she could rub out Jade one way or another through convenient 'accidents'.
Afterall, she knew the landscape like the back of her hand and she knew where all the most cranky beasts roamed, so it would be more than easy enough to set Jade on the path of doom.
"I won't back down. Drago's mine..." Jade said darkly. 'Ok, this woman is whacked. All I have to do is beat her, but not kill her. Simple as that...I hope.' she thought to herself, unsure about this really.
"Fine then. Tomorrow morning, be ready. That is when the challenge begins. I will announce your acceptance of the challenge and the details after the feast tonight. It is getting late and we must get back right away. Lord Drago will think poorly of us both if we are late for his welcoming celebration."
And with that last said word, Lily took off into the bushes. Jade knew what she was doing. She was showing off her speed and knowledge of the jungle, leaving Jade behind in the dust.
'Well, I can be just as every bit tribal as her and more!' Jade thought bitterly and flew out of the hot springs in a hurry as well. She yanked on her dry clothes over her wet body as fast as she could.
Since her memory was keen, she was able to get back to the village in record time. Unfortunately, Lily was already back and smirking at her evilly from afar.
Then she ran off somewhere. Jade followed her quickly to a huge wooden table covered with a lot of food near a burning bonfire. Drago was seated in the middle with a fancy silk cushions to sit on, being fed by other practically naked servant girls. Most of them were topless even!
Jade was annoyed to see Drago, only in pants, enjoying himself being waited on claw and talon by these topless ladies. The servant girls swarmed the fiery teen, rubbing his clawed toes and feeding him raw bloody meat.
This all appeased his dark demon side and reveling in the lusty atmosphere, Drago sighed happily. It was like watching porno's, but it was more up close and personal. And live. Best of all, it was free!
Jade grit her teeth in anger at all this, but her ire rose higher when she saw Lily haughtily walk over to where Drago was and sat close, too close, next to him.
"Lord Drago, may I rub your shoulders for you? A king should be comfortable at all times..." she purred sexily. Drago eyed her testily at first, but then figured why not? A slave was a slave afterall.
"Yeah, sure. Go ahead." was his careless answer. Lily anxiously took this as a sign that he was favoring her all of sudden for no good reason and rushed to massage his shoulders.
"Does that feel better?" she asked breathy, easily slipping her metal bra off and pressing her naked breasts up against his bare scaly back. Jade grew incredibly furious when she witnessed that sicko move.
Drago had been carefully observing Jade and wanted to see how she liked feeling jealous like how he had to when she fooled around with Jim as she tried to 'save' him.
It was about time she knew what it was like to suffer in envy anyway. If she knew how much it hurt, then she wouldn't dare to ever, ever try to return to Jim for any reason no matter what.
He felt he was teaching her a valuable lesson and she needed to learn this the hard way. Learning the hard way was usually the best way to learn afterall.
So he purposely allowed Lily to touch him and let her medium-sized breasts rub up against his backside. He chuckled deeply in his throat when he heard Jade's sudden war cry and Lily's screams. He turned to see Jade going postal on Lily.
"Get AWAY from him, you SLUT!" Jade yelled, punching her in the face over and over. Lily clawed back, pulling Jade's hair. Drago decided to break up the cat fight then. He got up from his cushions and pulled Jade off of Lily.
To his surprise, Jade began to punch and kick him instead, shrieking obscenities in his face and provoking him into getting pretty angry himself.
"Why are you just LETTING her push her infected breasts all over your back for?!" Jade screamed, aiming for his face with her fists. "You complain about me being disloyal, well what about you?! You stupid green overgrown gecko!"
"Hey! Stop shouting in my face like that!" he snapped back, blocking her kicks and blows. Jade whacked him even harder, but none of her attacks got past his defenses.
"You're just letting all these ugly naked hussies service you like some freaking male prostitute! I thought you loved me!!!" Jade cried, burning tears leaking out the corners of her angry narrowed eyes. He narrowed his eyes back at her.
"Yeah, well, same here! How do you like being on the receiving end this time? Now you know how I feel whenever you go running to Jim just so you can f-ck him!" he shouted back, then felt like punching himself in the gut.
He did it again! He let his worried fears manifest into loud careless words again! Drago let out an exasperated sigh, disgusted that his mouth screwed things up for him again.
Jade seemed absolutely frozen in mortification and terrible sorrow. Her chin trembled when she spoke again, but more softly, though just as angrily.
"If that's how you feel, then fine...!" she stiffly said, backing up. She thought of taking her ring off and throwing it at him, but she rather die first then let Lily win so easily. She ran out instead and kept running, not caring if she got lost in the jungle...or killed.
She kept running until her lungs threatened to give out on her. She came to some wide stream with a small moving waterfall dropping down from a short cliff close by.
Jade cried and cried. This was their worse fight yet! Maybe...maybe she was wrong. Maybe her love couldn't change Drago and she was just wasting her time.
"I'm sorry, Mom...Dad...Uncle...Jackie... Everybody..." she whimpered, her tears dripping into the stream over and over. "You guys were right... You guys were right..." she choked the words out in shaky terrible sobs.
Another horrible thought came to her mine. What if...Drago was just tricking her all over again, just like before??
Out of all the dark depressed suicidal gloom, the answer to that last fear was the light Jade really needed then.
No. No way, no how! He wasn't tricking her at all, not this time. She felt his love before, she knew it was true and powerful. Somehow she just knew it to be true, regardless what either of them said during fights.
After all, they survived the horrors of those demon infested space stations and Hell itself. They won against Shendu's vicious onslaughts and that weird ghosty demon thing. Drago protected her every chance he could and saved her life many times. He loved her, there was no doubt...
She thought back to what Drago had said. He was trying to make her feel jealous like how he felt when she was being close to Jim... And she did keep going back to Jim despite Drago's protests.
She saw it as a quest to try and straighten out Jim's mind and heart, but all she did was make it worse by letting him get closer to her when she was with Drago.
She knew how Drago felt about it, but she thought helping out a fragile-minded friend was more important... Maybe that wasn't the smart thing to do. She had to ask herself something.
Was it more important to help a friend at the expense of her lover's touchy emotions? And his trust?
It did make her look like she was cheating on him that way and she knew that Drago didn't exactly trust her yet... So that might be why he said those nasty things about her wanting to fool around with Jim back at the table near the bonfire.
Perhaps she gave off the wrong impression that while she was showing leniency and mercy towards Jim, maybe to Drago it looked more like she wanted to be with Jim instead of her fiery green lover.
Shaking her head, she washed her face off in the cool running waters and bowed her head in sorrow. She started to feel as if she brought this all on herself really. She wished she didn't yell at Drago now...
How could she let her anger control her like that? It was almost like she was a crazy person! If she trusted their love, she shouldn't have to worry about losing him whatsoever. No matter who won that stupid challenge tomorrow, he would still pick her, not Lily.
As half an hour went by, Jade used this time to sort out her thoughts. It was true. There was no way she could doubt the love she and Drago shared. It was something she just knew was true, like how people had to breathe air to live.
Then, she heard a noise behind her and saw the fiery teen himself. She turned away to hide her face. She knew how puffy and red it must look now since she couldn't stop crying and sniffling, even after all this time. This was so embarrassing!
"Jade..." he said softly, gingerly walking up closer to her. She made no moves to run and didn't protest, so he pushed his luck and sat right next to her.
She squeezed her eyes shut, her face turned away from him. That sad distant feeling was between them again, close to the one she felt back when she found out he was Drake for the first time.
Her eyes widened in surprise as he put his arms around her and pulled her into his lap, hugging her close to his bare chest like a plush teddy bear. She felt tears burning in her eyes again as she wept against his scales.
He said nothing, but continued to hold her close while stroking her hair fondly and caressing her tenderly. His actions spoke louder than words ever could so it was unnecessary for him to verbally apologize for his mouth slipping up again.
She knew he didn't mean those awful insults, he was only stating his distrust and fears in the most stupid of ways. Once she got him to trust her, then those careless insults would never return to offend her again.
Soon, she found his lips kissing hers, first slow and romantic, then more amorously. She sank back into some huge fern-like leaves as he leaned forward on her, his intentions clear.
Helping him to undress her, Jade closed her eyes with excitement as she waited for him to make love to her. She didn't have to wait long, and soon he was steadily pacing his hips smoothly against hers in perfect passion.
The leaves shook and vibrated loudly around them as Drago quickened his powerful thrusts faster and faster. Jade sang out her fevered pleasure in an erotic harmony, the sexiest 'music' her lover had ever heard.

"Jade, f-ck that. Let's just get the h-ll out of here. I pretty sure we're not in California anymore and we're on some whack island somewhere. We have to see if there's any sane civilization here and find out if we can fly out of here. That f-cking Delilah wants to kill you, I can tell. Forget the d-mn challenge and let's go home. Now." he said, his red garnet eyes serious.
"Well... Alright." Jade agreed reluctantly. She did want to beat Lily utterly in that challenge, but maybe it wasn't worth it. She only had to prove herself to Drago, not Lily.
"Let's just sleep here for tonight. If you get cold, just stay close to me..." Drago purred, kissing her lovingly. She kissed back, then pulled away so she could put her clothes back on.
"You know I will, even if I'm not cold." she purred slyly, happy that things were alright between them again. Moments later, the lovers were curled up on a pile of huge jungle leaves and falling asleep.
Little did they know, wisps of sleeping smoke flowed around them... Weakening them bit by bit throughout the night...
