J2: The Deception
Several of Jade's agents helped her up and she shrugged off her pain as she forced herself to get to the Talismen vault immediately. Seeing the hallways littered with fallen groaning bodies of her agents made her heart jump to her throat.
She felt as if she was losing control of the situation fast. Why did Drago have to go this far? Even though her agents were still alive, many of them were bleeding and beaten up. This was getting out of hand!
Her anger fueled her and helped her ignore the pain throbbing throughout her body as she made her way to the vault. Once she got there, she saw the vault door wide open and ran inside.
Drago was calmly taking the Talismen one by one into his claws and stuffing them into a pocket inside his trench coat. She attacked him from behind, but his tail knocked her aside easily.
Jade fell three feet away on her back hard. Her breath shot out of her lungs as she hit the floor. She struggled to get back up quickly, but her body begged her to stay down.
"Drago! Stop this!" she cried out desperately. "Please!" Drago secured his pocket nonchalantly and gave her an annoyed look.
"Make me." he simply said and waited for her to reply. Flabbergasted and feeling even betrayed, she stared back at him. His expression changed to one that was sly and confident.
"See, you can't. So quit telling me to stop. It's really getting on my nerves." he said, sending mixed signals. He wanted her to attack him and try to make him stop.
He wanted her to challenge him again, so he could 'smash' her down with his perfect domineering authority. He wanted her to know that she could never control him with words.
But she just sat there. How boring! Why wouldn't she 'play' with him some more? If he had to make her really angry to get her to fight him, then so be it.
Since they were alone and he had busted all the security cameras in the vault, he talked a little more freely to her. He went close to her and bent down.
"Come on! You're supposed to kick my a-s, let's go!" he hissed, pushing on her shoulder. She was about to do that, but then she saw a chance to get at his pocket inside his coat.
Jade thrust her hands to his side instantly, reaching frantically to unbutton the pocket open inside his coat. He grabbed her forearms and thrust her away. She glared meanly.
"You're going to have to try harder than that to get these Talismen back, my little miss." he said, standing up and taking a fighting stance. Now this was more like it!
Jade let out an agitated battle cry and charged at him. Drago happily blocked her attacks with playful joy and tackled her down on the floor again. He pinned her arms behind her and practically sat on her as he straddled her back.
Since they were still alone, Jade felt safe speaking to him like she always did. She had a big bone to pick with him.
"You jerk! You really beat me up back there, I ache all over! I thought you said you'd go easy on me! You freaking ugly scaly gecko-butt idiot!" she growled, struggling under him. Her wiggling pleased his groin well, causing him to laugh sexily.
How could he laugh? How could he think this was funny at all? What a jerk!!!
"And you licked my blood off your claws! What's the matter with you?" she asked in a hushed upset whisper, wanting to kick him hard in the groin. His purring and giggling worried her like crazy.
"I haven't tasted any succulent blood for so long, so how can you blame me?" He bent down and buried his face into her hair, kissing the back of her head softly.
"I've especially missed tasting yours, Jade..." he hissed strangely, scaring her to death. He wrapped his claws around her jaw and forced her head upwards to the right side, nibbling her ear.
His sharp nails dug into her flesh, causing her to be more alarmed. Was he already back to his old self right now? No!
"...D-Drago... S-stop...!" she whispered in fright, shaking. To her relief and surprise, he obeyed and even healed her aches and pains. The cuts stayed, but they were clotting well. He didn't get off her though.
"D-mn, stop taking this so seriously." he whispered in her ear, licking gently. "I'm not going to really hurt you. I'm only playing..." His tongue teased her flesh, sending excited chills throughout her body. She didn't know what to think then.
"FREEZE!"
Jade turned her head to the vault's door and saw Captain Black with some of his agents, their guns drawn. Thankfully none of those weapons were the illegal electric water guns.
"Get off Agent Chan and put your claws up, Drago." Captain Black ordered, going on with their staged 'capture'. Drago slowly got off Jade and knew it would strange if he just gave up right then.
He put his claws up, but then threw some more well aimed fireballs at Black and his agents. His attack caused them to shoot their weapons at him all at once.
Drago pretended to be weakened by their hits and fell to the floor, faking terrible pain. He groaned and moaned, acting as if he couldn't barely push himself up off the floor. He collapsed on his side and laid still.
Captain Black went forward with some extra large handcuffs and cuffed the fiery teen. Black's agents aided her and she pretended to be dazed with pain too.
She watched Black and a couple of his agents take Drago away as she was sent off to the infirmaries. She wondered about her lover's state of mind due to the Sky demon chi.
He said he missed tasting her blood of all things! Sheesh, if that wasn't like his old self, she didn't know what was. Hadn't he changed at all or was Shendu right all along? Was Drago really tricking her all over again?
NO! She wouldn't allow these doubts to ruin her relationship with her sweet gecko-butt. That was exactly what Shendu wanted besides. She wasn't about to let him win.
Jade knew Drago's love was real for her. It had to be, duh! He saved her life with it even, so it WAS real! There was doubt about it! No doubts whatsoever. NONE!
Besides, he did say he was playing, though that was the roughest 'playing' she had ever seen from him. It was like he was really trying to hurt her. She worried about what Drago's definition of playing was then...
Shivering, she wished Drago hadn't said he missed tasting her blood. It shook her up badly, freaking her out. Her old paralyzing fear of him came rushing back to her in waves every moment she thought of him desiring her life essence.
Sheesh oh man, did she have to get that Sky demon chi out of him pronto! It most definitely was making him very...unmanageable.
She couldn't tame him while he like this, he was getting too wild... Way too much like his old self. And that was unacceptable...
After spending two days in the infirmaries 'healing', Jade got to go home at last for the holiday weekend. Thanksgiving was only one day away and Jade was planning on spending that holiday with Drago...somehow.
Ever since she fell in love with him, she wanted to share holiday celebrations with him. She enjoyed being with him. His love for her glowed its brightest whenever they were alone. She loved the romantic evening dinners he prepared for her at times.
Of course, she could go to a party that Jackie, Tohru, and Uncle were going to. Viper was going to be at this party too, but still Jade knew she'd rather spend a romantic dinner at home with her gecko-butt.
During the days she spent at Section 13's sick bay, her agents believed that she was on their side. And that she was not fond of Drago, nor was he of her.
Everyone seemed to be convinced of that little show, well everyone except Jim. He knew the truth and wasn't going to be fooled. Though he thought Jade was under a spell to love Drago, he knew that that 'fight' had been staged.
Thankfully, he didn't voice his opinions and Jade was extremely glad for that. She didn't want anything jeopardizing her newly regained trust in her agents.
Back in the comforts of her home, she phoned Uncle as soon as she could. She told him about the Sky demon chi in Drago and how it was changing him back to his old aggressive evil self.
Uncle was annoyed that he had to pull her out of yet another mess. He didn't sound happy about doing it, but he agreed to help regardless. He told her that he would tell her when he had a spell ready. Jade thanked him and switched off her cordless phone.
"So that's how you're going betray me..."
Jade gasped and dropped her phone onto the carpet. She turned around to see Drago seething angrily. His wings were out this time and were folded behind him.
"Drago! You jerk! Don't sneak up on me!" Jade cried, bending down to pick her phone up. He growled inhumanly at her, a twisted hateful gurgling snarl that she couldn't ignore.
"If you think you're going to take this power from me, you're dead wrong..." he stated in a dangerous tone. Jade started to worry that he might hurt her over this, but pushed her fear aside. She had to be strong here. Plus, she was confident that his love for her would stop him from harming her again.
"It's for your own good, Drago. You-" she tried to say, but he let out a short roar of displeasure.
"I won't let you make me weak, Jade! D-mn it, you even GAVE me this power and now you want to take it away from me? What the h-ll is the matter with you?" he shouted, slamming his tail down.
"I gave it to you, because you told me to! I thought it would help us!" she shouted back, struggling not to let her old fear overtake her.
"IT DID!" he screamed back, flames sparking from his mouth. "It healed my wounds and we got away from those stupid tribal nutcases! It helped us both and I WON'T give it up!"
Jade swallowed hard, blinking back tears. She just knew something like this would happen over this stupid demon chi. "I can't let you keep it, Drago! It's making you too dangerous!" she cried.
He scoffed scornfully. "Oh come on, Jade! Like I wasn't dangerous before? You know who I am and what I can do, why act like I'm so dangerous all of sudden now? I've ALWAYS been dangerous!"
"You're getting more dangerous because of that demon chi, Drago! And you know it!" Jade retorted, trembling. He gave her a strange look that frightened and confused her. He circled her, almost like a shark.
He saw this as another ploy for her to keep him under her thumb. If he lost this demon chi, then he would be not as strong and easier for her to 'control'.
It was something he was beginning to notice ever since he got the Sky demon chi and he was becoming resentful of it. Why he never realized it before, he figured it was because he was losing sight of his demon heritage. It was about time he returned to it before he truly became weak for real.
She didn't want him to get stronger since she wouldn't be able to keep him under wraps like she was doing now. He despised how it looked like she was possibly trying to dominate him. That was NOT going to happen!
He was to be the dominator, never her. NEVER! She had to be disciplined and reminded who was the real boss here.
"What's the matter, Jade? Am I getting...too hard for you to handle?" he said in a low whisper behind her, bending close to her left ear. She sighed hard, feeling pretty uncomfortable. She didn't know what to make of his behavior, except it was bad.
"Hmph. Why do you insist on...taming me? You have my heart, what more do you want? For me to be your docile dog, your d-mn fool?" he asked, flaring his wings slightly.
They took up most of the room and blocked out her lamp light, shrouding them in a darker atmosphere. Jade turned around and stared at him in disbelief.
"No! Drago, I love you! It's just ultra disturbing to know that you still are after my blood, you know? And I don't want you to be my dog or fool. I want you to be normal and...not so...savage."
His gaze kept their cold mean look as he stared back at her. She wished she knew what he was thinking.
"I said I missed tasting your blood, I never said I was after all of it. It'd be kinda stupid of me if I did after getting you back from Dad's curse." he snorted, rolling his eyes.
"And you already know how much I enjoy blood. It doesn't put out my fire and I happen to like that taste more than bland water. I'm not going to eat you if that's what you're worried about." he assured her, wondering why she had to be so touchy over nothing.
"I know, I know why you like drinking blood and everything." she said, making a face. She softened her expression. "It's just you really scared me back there in Section 13... I mean, you didn't look like you were acting..."
Drago smirked halfway. "Well, duh. That's what a great actor does. Make acting look real." Jade shook her head, warming up to him a bit.
"Yeah well, you sure didn't go easy on me like you promised you would." she added, letting him put his arms around her. She gingerly placed her head against his chest, listening to his powerful heartbeat and breathing.
"Yes I did! If I had fought you without holding back, you'd need to stay in a hospital for months to recover." He lowered his head over top of hers, hugging her tight.
"What a nice comforting thought." she said sarcastically. He closed his eyes as he held her close, savoring having her in his arms again. It soothed his current rage and irritation.
Even though she was trying to plot to take his Sky demon chi, he couldn't help desiring her anyway. Everything about her thrilled him to the core.
It was like he was falling in love with her every so often again and again. Especially now after that death bomb curse from his father. The sight, the smell...the real taste of her... Ah! How he loved her so...
"I'm still keeping this demon chi, Jade. So don't waste your time looking for any spells to remove it from me. Alright?" he asked, though it wasn't like he was requesting. Jade turned her head to press her face into his chest, clutching it.
"I'm sorry... But I can't let you keep the demon chi. I just can't!" she cried, shaking her head. Drago thought of something and decided to point out something.
"Jade... You told me that in a dream I told you where to find that flute on the beach, right?" he asked, making her look at him. She nodded, confused.
"Yes, you did. So?"
"Did I ever look...different in your dream?" he asked, searching for answers in her eyes. It was a special skill his father knew how to do well, read minds through the eyes. He hadn't perfected it yet, but he could still 'read' some thoughts sometimes.
"Yes..." she replied slowly, wondering where this could lead to. "What did I look like then?" he asked, not able to get much of a 'reading' through her eyes currently. He really needed to practice more!
"I saw...a monster... He was huge with two thick long horns coming from his head and tentacles coming from his chin... I thought maybe it was you, but I couldn't think straight in that dream..." she said, remembering back to that day she had that strange dream. She gave him a worried look.
"That wasn't really you, was it? I mean...the evil chi I felt... It was unbearably strong." she said, disturbed. He smiled proudly. She had seen his adult self!
"I was meant to be strong, Jade. And yes, that was me... In the future. With ALL the demon chi powers..." he added. She gasped, shocked. Of course! It made sense, duh! But then that means...
"You're going to get all the demon chi powers anyway then... No matter what, you'll still get them all..." she said in a sad defeated daze. Drago kept smiling.
"You got it, honey. Now do you see how pointless it is for you to try and remove my wings? I'll be getting all the demon chi anyway. Why waste your time and especially, why tick me off for nothing? Just sit back and let me grow stronger. I won't use my powers against you, don't worry." he purred, thinking he had given her enough logic and reason not to interfere with his demon chi quest.
Jade was about to give up and accept that, but then she thought of something else.
"Wait a minute! You got all those powers maybe because you got me to think there was nothing I could do about it... But I think I can do something about it and I will!" she cried, believing there was a chance to 'change' him back to 'normal'.
In a disgusted annoyed huff, he pushed her away onto the couch. So...she still believed she could conquer him? How dare she! Yes, he wanted her to challenge him, but NOT like this!
This sort of challenging was what he disapproved of. She was really trying to stop him again and it disgusted him. Jade nearly fell to the carpet when Drago threw her onto the couch. Irritably she sat back up on it, glaring at him.
"D-mn it, Jade! I'm telling you, there's NOTHING you can do to stop me! Just get that through your pretty little head! You can go ahead and try, but you'll still fail and you'll only make me angry! Is that what you want?"
"I just want my gecko-butt back, that's all." she said, not backing down like he hoped she would. She had seen his future self and his awesome powers, yet she still defied him!
"Hello! I'm right here! DUH! I'm still me!" he snapped, getting fed-up. Why did she have to agitate him like this? Why wouldn't she just get used to his new demon chi power?
"Yeah... The old you..." she said testily, turning her head away sharply. Drago growled, baring his teeth. How dare she reject him unfairly! He wasn't any different! He was still the same, unlike what she believed.
"Screw that sh-t! Listen to me!" he cried, sitting next to her on the couch. He had to assure her of something important.
"Even if you...somehow remove my Sky demon chi, I'll still love you. I can't help how I feel about you, Jade. It's hard to explain, but whenever I look at you or breathe in your sweet scent, I fall in love with you all over again..." he told her.
Jade looked back at him slowly, that gap she felt between them closing bit by bit. "Yeah?" she asked, hopefully. That was amazing! She felt the same way about him too.
Of course, they loved each other, but for them to keep falling in love with each other anew, that was really something! And it meant their love would never die out for each other. That is real true love, the kind that never expires.
Jade was really happy to find out this. She had a fuzzy warm feeling growing inside her then.
"Yeah..." he said, touching her face lovingly. She closed her eyes, blushing and smiling. He laughed softly, pulling her into his arms again for a reassuring hug.
"It's just I wish you'd stop making me so mad, that's all." he added and Jade ended their embrace so she could give him a serious look.
"Drago, I'm just trying to help you! I don't want you going evil-crazy, killing people left and right!" she cried. He rolled his eyes in tired disgust. He closed his eyes for a moment to force back his fresh rising demonic ire and took a deep breath.
He exhaled plenty of smoke and opened his eyes. Jade wished she could read her gecko-butt like a book again. For some reason, she was having some trouble doing that since those blasted wings came along.
"Jade, will you quit thinking like that?"
"Like what?"
"Thinking I'm some d-mn goodie-goodie! I told you, I am still my so-called 'old' self! I've always had the Fire demon chi and you think that's just fine." he pointed out.
"I pretty much have no choice for the demon chi you were born with, Drago. But I don't have to agree to you getting more demon chi when it makes you more evil. If it didn't, then I wouldn't be so against it." she said, then softened her voice.
"I just don't want you hurting people again." she said gently, putting her hand on his claw. He looked away, grunting in scorn. He reached around the small table next to the couch where he left a shopping bag when he first came in.
"Don't worry so much." he said, hoping to change the subject then with some movies he rented earlier. "I came over so we could watch some movies together. See?"
He pulled the DVDs out of the shopping bag and showed her them. Jade took them and read their titles out loud.
"The Return of the Scum-Mummy, Maggots Live Again, Death by Flight." she said, noting how they were all R-rated mega horror flicks. Not the low budget B-horror movies, but the newest best horrors movies out currently.
"Which one do you want to see first?" Drago asked, grinning. He always loved viciously scary horror movies. They reminded him of his fun childhood and disturbing lifestyle with his parents when he was growing up.
"Definitely Death by Flight." Jade replied, smiling. She really liked scary horror movies and she was wondering when Drago would bring more movies to watch with her.
He usually found the best ones somehow when she had trouble finding such at Rent-Shows, the local movie rental place. The good ones were rented out before she had a chance to go rent any. She wondered if Drago was the notorious 'movie-hog' in town...
Drago took the DVD from her and put it in her DVD player in front of the couch. He turned the TV on and sat down back next to her with the remote.
They usually skipped over the annoyingly long movie previews in the beginning, but this time, they watched them. Sometimes the previews were worth seeing on newly released hot flicks.
They pointed out to each other which new upcoming movies seemed good enough to see later when they came out. Drago made the movie start when the main menu popped up finally and he put his arm around Jade as she snuggled against him.
This was how it should be. No fighting or arguing, just enjoying life together. Drago wished he could somehow keep this type of atmosphere in their relationship despite his desire for more power via demon chi's.
He couldn't see what the big deal was about it. He didn't think he was that much different, other than slacking off killing and eating humans. He wished she would see that he was the same as he always was. He hadn't really changed that much.
Drago knew he could hunt and kill people like how he did before. There was no way he'd lose his edge, though Jade was helping him get soft. Maybe a bit too soft, that's what bothered him.
If only she'd lighten up about his evilness, like she seemed to be doing months earlier. Now she was getting slightly difficult and that was annoying.
Drago adjusted his weight and settled down more comfortably on the couch while breathing in Jade's scent deeply. She held him closer, her hand on his chest.
The movie started out with showing the two main characters, the heroes, interacting with each other at their jobs. The female lead, named Polly, was a sexy flight attendant on board a jet going somewhere far away, which was not really all that important to the story.
The pilot, who was the male lead named Paul, was attracted to the flight attendant. They expressed their liking for each other from time to time during the flight. Eventually the jet had some engine trouble and crash landed some place in the middle of nowhere.
Having survived the crash, the pilot and Polly try to figure out where they are with the other passengers and co-pilot. It was evident that they were stuck in a strange forest that seemed to have no way out and soon, one by one, the passengers went missing.
They find out later that the unlucky passengers were eaten by some sort of creature after discovering their remains hanging in the trees. They had seen the creature's paw prints in the soft mud and they could tell it was a huge, whatever it was.
While surviving in the strange forest, Paul and Polly make love in the bushes. Drago made Jade look up at him so he could kiss her during these steamy scenes. She happily tongue-wrestled him, pleasing the fiery teen.
One thing led to another and eventually Paul and Polly came face to face to the creature itself. There was no happy ending here since the beast ate them both in a massive shower of blood.
The movie ended like that with scenes showing that the jealous co-pilot was the one who summoned the evil beast to kill everyone on the jet. There were hints that a sequel would continue the story and be released sometime soon.
Jade decided the movie wasn't as good as the critics claimed it to be. Having the good guys die no matter what was really unsettling. Not to mention annoying.
Drago commented on how dry it was. "I barely saw any blood at all!" he complained, taking the DVD out and replacing it with the Maggots Live Again DVD.
Jade stared at him. Was he kidding? That movie was a blood bath everytime the beast creature attacked anyone!
"Drago, there was tons of blood flying everywhere in that movie." she pointed out. He snorted.
"That 'blood' looked so d-mn fake I thought it was Kool-Aid! Oh well, I liked how those 'heroes' got eaten in the end. Now I know I didn't waste an hour and half of my life watching it."
Jade rolled her eyes and laid out on the couch, her head on his lap. He played with her dark black locks as he started the next movie. It was about a horde of hungry maggots that went after live prey instead of dead ones.
They were loose in a city much like San Francisco and ate the innocent left and right. They attacked by day and night while no one knew how to stop them from getting into people's homes and places of business.
Incredibly gross and disturbing, Jade had to sit back up and cover her face with a cushion as the maggots devoured a random couple as they slept. When she was little she was able to stomach such scenes better, but now, the movies were more gross, more violent, and the worms more realistic...
Eventually, the scientists found out the maggots were a special breed of baby flies that were attracted to only living humans. Some nut created these 'killer baby flies' and unleashed them on the city when the nut lost his job at a government lab.
The good guy scientists were able to get the evil scientist to destroy the maggots by filling the air in the city with a harmful gas that would kill the maggots. It was harmless to people though.
Jade found that pretty stupid and the whole movie just terrible. That was supposed to be a good horror flick? Jade felt cheated and annoyed. It was basically about worms eating people left and right. It was so predictable!
She would never look at noodles the same again thanks to that stupid movie. One scene had shown some woman get her face eaten off by the maggots hiding in her noodles at a restaurant. Curse that maggot movie!
"Ugh, that one was horrible!" Jade exclaimed as Drago took it out and put in the last movie. He shrugged, acting as if they had been watching the evening news.
"It was ok." he said, then getting whacked by Jade in the shoulder.
"Ok? Ok?? Are you crazy? That was really sick and disgusting! I can't believe it was rated to be a 'good' movie! Sheesh, people are so stupid!" she yelled.
"Will you shut up for a second? This movie is really good, trust me!" he said, sitting down next to her again. Jade grumbled to herself, unable to forget the many gross scenes of the maggots eating every person they could.
The scum-mummy movie was truly a good horror flick and it had the classic good VS evil theme going through it. Steaming sex scenes were riddled throughout, giving her gecko-butt many excuses to kiss and touch her seductively.
The movie had the battle-royal ending Jade often liked to see and the scum-mummy was burned to ashes by the heroes. The credits rolled after the male and female lead heroes were making out and having sex wildly to celebrate their victory.
Unable to hold back his lust any longer, Drago pushed her down on the couch and pulled open her partially unbuttoned blouse. He unhooked her bra, revealing her beautiful breasts.
Jade caressed his scaly bald head as he suckled her perversely. He had her wrapped in his wings, keeping her close and shrouded in darkness.
Despite her dislike for the evil chi wafting from his wings, Jade fell into a well of deep contentment. With her jeans removed after much teasing from Drago's claws, she spread her legs and draped them over top the base of her lover's thick tail.
Thrusting slowly then changing gears to a faster pace, Drago closed his eyes in bliss. Sex was always so wonderful with her, it was so satisfying. It was never a disappointment, it thrilled him so.
Time went by fast and soon, Drago couldn't delay his release any longer. Jade felt burst after hot burst of her lover's semen flowing into her. She moaned her delight loudly, refreshing his faltering lust.
The two lovers hugged, kissing and tasting each other. It wouldn't be long until the fiery teen was ready for another round of love-making. Jade closed her eyes and leaned her head back as Drago penetrated her once more.
Growling in passion, he released hard into her. She arched her back, driving him deeper into herself. She really enjoyed how thick and long he was, every inch of her fleshy walls were filled tightly with his powerful organ.
"Keep it in...please..." she whispered in hot lust, but he wanted to hear that delicious squeal of hers. With one fast rough movement, he pulled himself free. Jade's lecherous panting squeals drove Drago insane with fresh new lust.
He jammed it back in quickly, causing his lover to groan in erotic desire. In dirty lust, he proceeded smothering her breasts with kisses, his tongue wiping across her hard swollen nipples wildly.
Being filled to the brim with his manhood and getting arousing sensations, Jade knew she couldn't take much more. She panted and squealed in desperate pleasure, tossing her head from side to side.
"Ohhh! Uhhh! Ahhh!! Oh, Drago! I-I, uhhh! I'm going to...to... AHHH!!!" Jade gasped, bucking her hips hard, trying to him to move his. But he kept his stubbornly still while mercilessly teasing her breasts.
As soon as he felt her having an orgasm, he kissed her viciously as he finally began to buck his hips. It gave Jade the best pleasurable experience she had ever felt in her life.
All night long they made love continuously nonstop until they fell asleep in each other's arms. The next morning, Jade awoke next to her beautiful naked gecko-butt.
He was sleeping soundly, his mighty scaly chest falling and rising. Smiling, she gently kissed his cheek and ran her fingers lovingly over his soft smooth scales.
Finally, she got up and covered him with a blanket. She went to the bathroom to get washed and got ready to go shopping for a turkey.
When she had finished getting ready, she discovered Drago hadn't even woken up yet. She shook his shoulder and he groggily stirred.
"Wake up, sleepy. I want to get a turkey before it's Thanksgiving." she said. He growled and turned over on his other side, facing away from her.
"Then go get it." was his mean reply. He usually was grouchy whenever anyone interrupted his slumber.
"I want you to come with me." was her equally mean response back.
"Rrrgh! I don't want to do any d-mn shopping." he snarled, wishing she'd let him sleep. After having so much sex the night before, he was worn out.
Jade narrowed her eyes. She wanted him to go with her since it wasn't much fun going alone. She grabbed his tail and pulled. He yelped in surprise and slight pain as he struggled to get away. He fell to the carpet floor then.
Drago glared at her viciously. How dare she pull his tail! Jade smiled at him, thinking she had won.
"We won't do that much shopping. Now come on." she said, grinning. Grumbling, he climbed back onto the couch and laid down. Her smile turned upside down when he did that.
"Drago! Let's go!" she cried, getting annoyed with him. She always had to listen to him, why wouldn't he listen to her? He gave her a dangerous testy look over his shoulder that let her know not to mess with him.
"Ok, fine! Be lazy and sleep in! Just remember that I'm the one who's making sure we have a nice Thanksgiving and not you! Jerk!" she shouted, kicking the couch and left huffily.
As Jade went shopping at the local grocery store, someone tapped her on the shoulder. She gasped when she saw who it was and wished she was elsewhere.
"Hello, Jade. That was some show you put on for us at work." Jim said strangely, letting her know that he knew that fight she had with Drago at Section 13 was a hoax.
Jade ignored him and tried to leave the empty aisle they were in quickly, but Jim grabbed her arm. Hard.
"Ow! Jim! You're hurting me!" she cried, yanking away. But his grip was too strong, a little too strong. She looked at his hand pinching her arm off and then to his cold jealous angry eyes.
There was no trace of her old friend Jimmy in those hateful eyes, only this new dark Jim remained. She grew increasingly afraid as he brought his face close to her.
"Tell your d-mned green monster to return what he stole from me!" Jim hissed at her. When some random people passed by too close, Jim let Jade go. She inspected her arm and glared at him.
When the random people went away, Jade tried getting away with those strangers. But Jim found her again when she was alone in another deserted aisle. She felt harassed by his stalking.
"Quit following me!" she cried as he walked up to her again. "I'll never stop following you, Jade." Jim replied in a low unnerving tone. It almost reminded her how Drago used to be to her before...
It gave a creepy helpless feeling. No way would she allow herself to be bullied again!
"Jim, if you don't stop harassing me, I'm going to file a restraining order on you and have you fired. Is that what you want?" she threatened, pushing past him. Again he grabbed her arm, stopping her.
"I want you, Jade." he said in a scary passionate tone, freaking her out. She wished Drago was with her, but then again she was glad he wasn't. Jim would be dead instantly if Drago knew he was bothering her like this.
"Nothing will stop me from being close to you. You're supposed to be mine, not that ugly green beast's!" he said hatefully. "Just tell that animal of yours to give back my Arcana!"
Jade yanked away at the same time he let go, causing her to almost lose her balance. She fell against the shelves that held the store's cereal products. She felt an icy chill go throughout her being. Was Jim possessed by a demon or what? Sheesh!
"Stop it, Jim! You're scaring me!" she said, worried at what he might do next.
"I know he's hiding the Arcana from me, because he knows I can get rid of him with it. If I don't have my Arcana back by the end of the year, I'll tell everyone at work the truth about your fabricated battle with him." Jim threatened back cruelly.
He would give her about a month's time to get Drago to return the Arcana to him, but that was it. He would inform everyone at Section 13 of the truth that he believed they deserved to know.
"No! Don't do that, please!" Jade hated the pleading sound in her voice, but she really couldn't afford to have Jim squeal on her like that.
"Return the Arcana to me before New Year's break and I won't say anything..." Jim said, then walked off. Jade felt shaken and worried. She didn't want to give Jim the Arcana back since he could hurt Drago with it.
But if she didn't...then Jim would tell everyone at work the truth about the 'fight' she had with Drago and then she would lose their trust all over again. There most likely would be a rebellion then. She wished she knew what to do...
Thanksgiving came and went. Jade fretted over giving the Arcana to Jim the entire time, but Drago helped her with that decision.
"Don't give it to that moron!" Drago told her, lashing his tail about. She sighed hard. "But he'll tell everyone at Section 13 about that attack you did. And how our fight was made-up."
"He'll tell them anyway! Once he gets that Arcana again, he'll try to kill me with those ugly d-mned beasts!" he cried, then got close to Jade's face.
"Don't. Give. Him. The. Arcana. Don't!" Drago emphasized harshly. Jade shook her head. "I know. I know. But what will we do if he tells everyone the truth? My agents will rebel against me again."
Drago put his arms around her from behind, snuggling. Jade welcomed his gentle affections and nuzzled him back. His warmness comforted her, making her feel safe and loved.
"If they do, then I'll just visit Section 13 again..." he purred, kissing her neck. Jade pulled away to face him. "No! Don't do that. I still have bruises from your last attack. Not to mention scars."
"Don't worry so much about it, Jade. I have a different plan to help you out." he said, bringing her close to him with his arms around her waist. She laid her head against his chest with her arms around him.
"Oh boy, I'm scared to ask." she said, half-teasingly. "What?"
He began to stroke his right claw through her hair, sending pleasurable sensations through her scalp. He placed his chin on top of her head, enjoying her presence.
"I'm going to bring Marlone to Section 13, that's what." he replied, covering her with his wings. Jade looked up at him in surprise.
"What? You found him? Where?" she cried, amazed. She just knew her gecko-butt would find that dirty low-life criminal! Wonderful!
"Well, I didn't find him. Yet. But when I do, I'll bring that as-hole in and maybe I'll get your agents to think a little differently about me. Then it won't matter to them if we're lovers. See? It's a great plan." he said, grinning.
Jade wasn't so sure, but still. If Drago could bring in a big time criminal like Marlone, that deed might get her agents to change their opinions about Drago. Maybe.
"I don't know, Drago. It's a long shot. Yet, it is worth a try." she said. He playfully rubbed noses with her before kissing her on the lips.
"Sure it is! It's what Captain Black wanted me to do anyway to 'prove' myself. I'll do my hunting tomorrow. I bet I can find that slimeball by the end of the week, easy." he said confidently, embracing his sweetheart.
"I hope so. I really want to nail that sleazy Marlone for he's done to those innocent young girls." she said, hugging him back. "I believe you can do it, Drago. I wish you luck."
Drago snorted. "Luck? H-ll, I'm a dragon! I am luck!" he said friskily. Jade had to giggle as he began to tickle her. She jumped away from his wiggling claws and headed to her room.
He followed her close behind all the way to her room, tackling her onto the bed. As her fiancé hungrily expressed his desire for her, she continued to fret over her troubles; Jim telling her agents the truth and her agents rebelling against her.
She hoped like crazy that Drago could apprehend Marlone and then free all those young girls from slavery. Maybe that would show everyone at work that Drago wasn't a monster like they thought.
Plus, she had her own plan on how to keep Jim pacified until Drago brought in Marlone. She just hoped Jim would fall for it!
